The role contributes to the continued growth and diversification of inland adventure trails and experiences, ensuring world-class delivery for all visiting guests. The Senior Instructor is responsible for supporting the operational rollout of adventure programs, leading by example in activity delivery, and providing hands-on training, mentoring, and performance support to the instructor team. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, and local communities to ensure alignment, safety, and exceptional guest experiences in line with Red Sea Sport & Entertainment standards.<br>Key Responsibilities Support the development, enhancement, and growth of Akun Adventure activities and inland adventure destinations across The Red Sea. Support the training, daily operations, and delivery of all Akun Adventure activities, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution. Assist the leadership team in ensuring full compliance of instructors, guides, guests, and activities with destination-specific SOPs and RAMS, including contributing to their development, review, and continuous improvement. Lead, mentor, and support a team of instructors, fostering a strong safety culture and a premium guest service mindset aligned with the Red Sea service style. Oversee teams to ensure all inland destinations, venues, and adventure equipment are consistently clean, safe, and properly maintained. Actively promote and advocate for all adventure activities across the wider RSSE portfolio, including Galaxea and WAMA, supporting a unified guest experience. Participate in regular operational and performance review sessions with senior adventure leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and operational updates. Interpret, apply, and enforce relevant international adventure and outdoor regulations, liaising with local and international sporting bodies and ecosystems as required. Support incident management, reporting, and follow-up actions, ensuring lessons learned are embedded into operations and training. Act as a role model on-site, leading activities when required and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and guest engagement.<br>Policies, Systems, Processes & Reporting Comply with all RSSE and Red Sea Global policies, systems, SOPs, and operational procedures to ensure controlled and consistent delivery. Support the preparation of accurate and timely MIS reports, operational updates, and incident documentation in line with corporate and departmental requirements.<br>Safety, Quality & Environment Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies to ensure employee and guest safety, legislative compliance, service excellence, and responsible environmental stewardship. Promote a strong safety-first culture, proactively identifying risks and supporting mitigation measures across all adventure operations.<br>Continuous Improvement Contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across adventure operations, systems, and training practices, aligned with international best practice and operational excellence.<br>Key Stakeholders Internal: Adventure Operations, Instructors, RSSE Operations Teams, Asset Management, Resort & Hospitality Teams External: Local Authorities, Sporting Federations, Environmental & Outdoor Partners, Guests<br>Job Requirements Qualifications & Experience Valid Wilderness First Aid or internationally recognized First Aid certification (including CPR and hyper/hypothermia response), with a minimum validity of six (6) months at the time of employment commencement. Basic Land Navigation training, including natural navigation and GPS usage. Leave No Trace certification or equivalent environmental training. Search, Tracking & Operations training. Trekking / Mountain Leader assessment (IFMGA, UIAA, or BMC preferred). Minimum of two (2) additional National Governing Body (NGB) certifications from accredited providers (e.g., Mountain Biking, Climbing, Archery, High Ropes, Quad Biking). Minimum of four (4) to five (5) years’ experience within the tourism, adventure, or outdoor recreation industry; experience in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.<br>Skills & Competencies Demonstrated success delivering adventure sports activities in premium hotel or resort environments. Strong background in dive center operations and commercial dive business. Demonstrated experience in marine conservation and diving health & safety. Equipment management and dive retail experience. The Dive Center Supervisor ensures that all diving activities—including training, guided excursions, and retail operations—are delivered to the highest professional, safety, and service standards. General Responsibilities Ensure all dive-related equipment is fully functional, safe, and ready for use at all times. Support the Dive Center Technician and management in the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of dive equipment. Assist other dive center locations, as required, with equipment servicing and operational support. Maintain flexibility to work across sites, including remote operations and on-site support as needed.<br>2. Pre-Opening Support Support the setup, inspection, and commissioning of all dive equipment during the pre-opening phase. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the delivery stage to ensure all equipment meets operational and safety requirements. Assist in establishing maintenance systems, inventory processes, and service schedules.<br>3. Operational Responsibilities (Post-Opening) Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and repairs of all dive equipment, including regulators, BCDs, cylinders, compressors, and related systems. Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out professionally and in compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including asset tracking and service histories. Record and monitor all equipment servicing, repairs, and replacements. Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults, ensuring timely resolution to minimize operational disruption. Support the daily operations of the dive center, including equipment preparation and readiness. Ensure all equipment is stored, handled, and transported in accordance with best practices. Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.<br>4. Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Ensure safety is always the highest priority in all equipment handling and maintenance activities. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of compressed gases and diving equipment. Ensure compliance with environmental standards and promote responsible operational practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and storage environment.<br>5. Policies, Procedures & Reporting Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintenance protocols. Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and inventory records. Report any equipment failures, risks, or safety concerns promptly to management.<br>6. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, equipment performance, and operational efficiency. Contribute to the implementation of best practices aligned with international diving and technical standards.<br>Job Requirements Qualifications & Experience Certified Dive Equipment Technician (brand-specific certifications to be defined based on operational requirements, e.g., regulators/compressors manufacturers). Certified Cylinder Technician in accordance with recognized industry standards. Proven experience in servicing and maintaining dive equipment within a commercial or tourism environment. Experience in equipment inventory management and maintenance planning. Strong understanding of diving health and safety standards. Valid “Fit to Dive” medical certification.<br>Core Competencies Proficiency in written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage. Strong technical aptitude with hands-on problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Well-organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and coordination skills. Professional demeanor aligned with luxury hospitality standards. Ability to work in dynamic and demanding environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic administrative systems.<br>Desirable Skills Certified Compressor Technician (brand-specific certification preferred). Additional language proficiency (preferably Arabic). Guest-facing experience within dive or tourism operations. Knowledge of marine life identification. Underwater photography and videography skills.
