About the role We run production multi-agent systems that handle real work for a large base of users.
As those systems grow, our biggest constraint is confidence: we need to know how well the agents perform, catch regressions before they ship, and keep quality steady as we release.
This role owns that.
You'll build the evaluation systems behind our agents - the judges, test harnesses, and simulators that tell us whether an agent is working and where it's failing.
The goal is to let us ship agents faster because we can trust what the evaluation tells us.
Evaluation is the focus, but it won't be the boundary.
Because you'll understand the agents' failure modes better than anyone there will also be opportunities to contribute to agent development itself, building and improving the agents alongside the systems that evaluate them.
Responsibilities Own the evaluation stack.
Design and build LLM-as-judge systems, calibrate them against human labels, and make agent quality measurable per-agent and per-failure-mode.
Make the release gate real.
Build per-PR eval harnesses and regression detection wired into CI, so quality is enforced automatically, not by manual passes.
Build user simulators to generate test coverage and adversarial cases before real users hit them.
Turn production signal into improvement - pipe real failures back into evaluation sets so the system compounds over time.
Partner with product to turn "what good looks like" into concrete, measurable criteria.
Grow into agent development - contribute to building and hardening the agents themselves, starting with the components you know most deeply from evaluating them.
Strong software engineering fundamentals.
Production Python or Typescript (or similar), clean API and system design, testing, CI/CD.
You write code others build on - evaluation infrastructure is real engineering.
Hands-on LLM/agent experience.
You've built with LLMs - agents, RAG, tool/function calling, orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent) - and understand how they behave and break.
A measurement mindset.
You reason about metrics, calibration, and experiments; you want to quantify whether something works, not just ship it.
Production experience.
You've run LLM systems in production and dealt with reliability, latency, cost, and observability.
5+ years software engineering, with recent hands-on LLM/agent work.
Nice to have Direct experience evaluating LLM/agent systems - offline/online eval, LLM-as-judge, systematic regression testing.
Observability tooling (Arize, LangSmith, or similar).
Arabic language / NLP experience.
E-commerce or merchant-facing product experience.

Abdulaziz Al‑Zaid Professional Consulting (AZ) is building a scalable B2B Saa S platform that digitizes and automates regulated, document-heavy professional workflows — from client intake and structured data capture to quality controls, approvals, and controlled report issuance — integrated with CRM, analytics, and enterprise systems.
We are hiring a hands‑on Senior Agentic AI Engineer to design and ship production‑grade LLM agent systems that automate real workflows (not demos). You will work closely with leadership and a lean engineering team to deliver AI capabilities that are measurable, reliable, secure, and commercially deployable.
What you’ll deliver (outcomes) Ship production LLM/agent capabilities that reduce manual effort across intake, validation, evidence extraction, drafting, QA checks, routing, and approvals. Build robust agentic workflows (tool use, routing, state management) with reliability patterns (timeouts, retries, fallbacks) and clear observability. Implement evaluation and quality measurement (offline tests + online monitoring) to continuously improve accuracy, safety, and cost performance. Package repeatable AI solutions that can be deployed internally and offered to clients as deliverables (scoping → delivery → measurable outcomes).
Key responsibilities Design and implement multi‑step / tool‑using LLM workflows (function calling, external APIs, RAG, structured outputs). Build reusable orchestration patterns (routing, memory/state, task decomposition, guardrails, error recovery). Own LLMOps: deployment, monitoring, prompt/version management, evaluation harnesses, cost/latency control. Integrate agents with business systems (CRM, document/report pipelines, approvals, analytics) using secure APIs and role/permission models. Establish engineering standards for AI delivery: testing, reliability, logging, incident response, and measurable KPIs (quality, cycle time, adoption). Support client-facing AI delivery where needed (requirements, estimation, proof, rollout).
Must‑have (we will screen for this) Proven track record shipping LLM/agent systems into production (not only POCs). Strong experience with tool‑using agents: function calling, API integrations, RAG, structured outputs, and reliability patterns. Hands‑on Python development (production code, services, testing, integrations). Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, auth, data stores, and production operations. Ability to work fast with a lean team and own delivery end‑to‑end.
Strong advantage Experience in regulated / auditable workflows (approvals, audit trails, evidence, controlled issuance). Azure-based delivery experience (or equivalent cloud), including CI/CD and monitoring. Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks (Lang Graph / Semantic Kernel / Auto Gen / Crew AI or similar). Experience building AI-enabled products with evaluation and measurement discipline.
Location Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — On‑site (Full‑Time) Candidates outside Riyadh are welcome if able to relocate.
How to apply Email jobs@azv.sa with:CVLinks or brief evidence of shipped work (Git Hub, demos, case summaries — redacted if needed) Your monthly all‑in compensation expectation + notice period Email subject: Senior Agentic AI Engineer – Riyadh#Hiring #Riyadh #Saudi Arabia #AIEngineer #LLM #Gen AI #Agentic AI #Multi Agent #RAG #Function Calling #Python #Azure #Saa S #B2B
