Key Responsibilities1. Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive legal advice and support on transactions and commercial matters in KSA and the broader GCC region, including cross-border transactions, joint ventures, franchising, and licensing arrangements.2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents in both English and Arabic, ensuring compliance with KSA and applicable international laws.3. Advise on compliance with KSA local laws and regulations; identify and assess legal risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.4. Assist business team, GA team in applying for and obtaining license and permit necessary for the operation of the retail, logistic, warehousing and other arms of the company.5. Work closely with senior management and business units to ensure legal requirements are met in all business operations across KSA.6. Support business units in communicating with relevant KSA authorities and external stakeholders, to maintain a business-friendly regulatory environment.7. Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolution matters in KSA courts and alternative dispute resolution forums.8. Stay up-to-date with changes in the KSA legal landscape, GCC regulatory developments, and industry trends; proactively communicate updates to relevant internal stakeholders.9. Develop and maintain an adequate and high-quality resource pool of external law firms and legal advisors in KSA, and maintain strong relationships with external legal advisors and partners.10. Collaborate with the global legal team to ensure consistency in legal frameworks and compliance standards across jurisdictions.<br>Qualifications Mandatory Requirements1. A bachelor's degree in law from a recognized university. An advanced degree is preferred.2. A minimum of 7 years of relevant legal work experience, among which at least 5 years in KSA.3. Extensive knowledge of KSA corporate law, contract law, commercial law, labor law, and regulatory frameworks applicable to foreign-invested enterprises.4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex legal matters clearly to non-legal stakeholders.5. Native Arabic speaker, with fluent English proficiency (both written and spoken) as a working language.6. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.7. Proven track record of managing complex legal projects, transactions, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.8. Familiarity with KSA regulatory authorities, licensing procedures, and government approval mechanisms.9. On behalf of a diversified family group active in real estate development, institutional joint ventures, multi-brand F&B businesses and international holdings, we are seeking a bilingual (Arabic/English) General Counsel to lead a fast-moving and transaction-heavy legal function. Reporting directly to the Chairman and Shareholders, you will manage a high-performing internal team while serving as a key strategic advisor to the business.<br>Purpose Own all legal affairs of the Group, acting as a strategic advisor to the Chairman, shareholders, and senior management. Protect the organization across its highest-value transactions and key relationships (institutional JV partners, fund managers, banks, regulators) while building and leading the in-house legal function.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Major Transactions: Lead the Group’s flagship deals, including joint ventures with institutional developers and investors, real estate fund structures, bank facilities, security packages and guarantees, group restructurings, capital increases, and share transactions. Set negotiation strategy, maintain relationships with opposing senior counsel and principals, and decide when to concede, escalate, or walk. Corporate Governance: Own corporate governance across the Group, including board and shareholder resolutions, delegations of authority, related-party transaction approvals, conflicts management, and fund-level governance with fund managers and custodians. Dispute & Risk Management: Direct disputes strategy (litigation, arbitration, and enforcement) and oversee legal risk across international holdings, instructing local counsel where needed. Job Description:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Litigation Counsel to join our legal team in Saudi Arabia. This role will primarily support various business lines on a wide range of contentious dispute matters, including civil, commercial, administrative litigation, labor arbitration & litigation, and other ADR proceedings. The ideal candidate shall be capable of handling dispute resolution cases independently, and play a key role in designing and managing litigation strategy, providing practical legal advice to management and headquarters, and coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders as well as external counsel. Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee various litigation matters, including commercial disputes, labor cases, and other contentious proceedings across Saudi Arabia Develop litigation strategies Review and analyze claims, evidence, and legal documents to support case preparation and decision-making Represent the company in interactions with courts, arbitration centers, and relevant authorities where applicable Maintain an adequate and high-quality resource pool of external law firms, and work closely with external counsel to ensure effective case handling Provide proactive legal advice to business teams on dispute risks and mitigation strategies Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams on dispute-related matters Monitor legal developments and provide updates on litigation trends and regulatory changes Qualifications:Qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in litigation or relevant areas Arabic speaker, with fluent English proficiency (both written and spoken) as a working language Solid experience in handling all types of legal disputes Strong understanding of Saudi legal and judicial system Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple cases independently in an organized fashion Adaptability to a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications (Will Be a Plus but not a must):Diverse professional background, including experience in law firms, in-house legal teams, and/or judicial institutions (e.g., courts or prosecutorial bodies) in Saudi Arabia Overseas education experience in an English-speaking country Experience working with or advising multinational companies Familiarity with e-commerce, platform businesses, or fast-growing tech environments
