Senior Testing & Commissioning Manager – Wind Turbine Specialist Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Family Status available)<br>About the Role We are seeking a Wind Turbine Specialist to lead commissioning activities for utility-scale wind projects, ensuring mechanical, electrical, control, and grid-interface systems are commissioned safely and perform reliably.<br>You will work closely with EPC teams, OEMs, and grid operators to deliver successful commissioning and handover of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs).<br>Key Responsibilities Review WTG engineering designs, control philosophies, and grid compliance requirements Coordinate FAT reviews and commissioning planning with EPC, OEM, and utility teams Lead mechanical and electrical commissioning activities Supervise LV/MV energization and first grid synchronization Validate WTG controller parameters and grid-code compliance Conduct LVRT/HVRT, frequency ride-through, and reactive capability testing Review SCADA data, alarms, and event logs Troubleshoot grid trips, pitch and yaw faults, converter failures, and communication issues<br>About You12+ years of WTG commissioning experience Strong understanding of turbine electrical, mechanical, and control systems Experience with IEC 61400 standards and grid-code compliance OEM commissioning authorization strongly preferred Excellent troubleshooting and site leadership capabilities<br>Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Certified Engineer preferred<br>Why Apply? Key Responsibilities:Develop, update, and monitor baseline and detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. Track project progress and analyze schedule performance against approved milestones. Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project timelines. Identify potential delays and develop recovery plans to maintain project objectives. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations. Perform critical path analysis, productivity assessments, and delay evaluations. Review subcontractor schedules and support project teams in achieving planned targets.
