JOB SUMMARYLead the origination, development, and delivery of finance transformation engagements for Energy, Natural Resources, and related clients across Riyadh and Al Khobar. Support CFO agendas across finance strategy, target operating model design, process optimisation, governance, data, technology enablement, financial close and reporting, planning, analytics, and cost performance. The role includes building trusted C-suite relationships, leading large and complex transformation programs, driving business development, and contributing to the growth of the Finance Transformation practice in the Saudi market.<br>KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLead large and complex finance transformation engagements for Energy and Natural Resources clients. JOB PURPOSE<br>The E&S engineer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring environmental and social compliance during the construction phase of projects. Job description<br>Responsible for overseeing tax-related activities to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and organizational requirements while contributing to the achievement of financial objectives. Manages the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensures adherence to tax compliance obligations and best practices. Provides strategic tax planning and tax advisory support to senior management to optimize the organization’s tax position and support business objectives. Manages and coordinates relationships with external tax advisors and government officials to ensure effective communication and compliance. Monitors changes in tax legislation, evaluates potential impacts on the business, and recommends appropriate actions. Develops and implements tax policies aligned with overall business strategy and regulatory requirements. Advises internal teams on tax implications related to business operations, projects, and transactions. Leads tax audits, prepares supporting documentation, manages responses to inquiries from tax authorities, and ensures compliance strategies are effectively implemented. Prepares tax reports and compliance updates for executive management and key stakeholders. Requires strong expertise in tax management, tax compliance, tax legislation, tax planning, tax advisory services, tax audits, compliance strategies, tax reporting, accounting, finance, regulatory compliance, tax software, Microsoft Office applications, and stakeholder coordination.<br>Key responsibilities Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of tax returns while ensuring full compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Prepare and present tax reports, compliance updates, audit findings, and tax-related recommendations to executive management and key stakeholders.<br><br>Experience & skills Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Possess advanced qualifications or professional certifications such as CPA or CA as a preferred credential. Demonstrate 3–5 years of relevant experience in tax management, tax advisory, or related tax functions. Maintain thorough knowledge of tax legislation, tax compliance requirements, tax regulations, and industry best practices. Demonstrate experience managing tax audits, preparing tax documentation, and implementing compliance strategies. Possess strong analytical capabilities and the ability to evaluate tax impacts, compliance risks, and regulatory changes. Demonstrate proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications. Exhibit the ability to prepare tax reports, communicate complex tax matters clearly, and provide recommendations to stakeholders. Demonstrate knowledge of accounting, finance, regulatory compliance, and business transaction tax implications.
