This full-time role involves supervising, coordinating, and managing all mechanical works for a significant cultural project, encompassing both fit-out and operational phases. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.</p> <h3 >Role Purpose and Scope</h3> <p >The Mechanical Engineering Specialist will be responsible for overseeing various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and building management systems. A core aspect of this role is ensuring strict compliance with project specifications, quality standards, established schedules, and all safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.</p> <h3 >Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul > <li >Review design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals for all mechanical systems.</li> <li >Ensure mechanical systems are designed and installed in line with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international museum standards.</li> <li >Provide technical support to resolve site issues and coordinate with consultants and contractors.</li> <li >Oversee the execution of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works.</li> <li >Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with specifications, quality, and safety requirements.</li> <li >Conduct regular inspections and prepare snag lists to ensure corrective actions are implemented.</li> </ul> <h3 >Coordination and Interface Management</h3> <ul > <li >Coordinate with electrical and architectural teams to resolve MEP interface issues.</li> <li >Support the Construction Manager in managing subcontractors and suppliers.</li> <li >Attend coordination meetings and report on progress, risks, and issues.</li> </ul> <h3 >Testing, Commissioning, and Handover</h3> <ul > <li >Supervise testing and commissioning of all mechanical systems.</li> <li >Ensure O&amp;M manuals, as-built drawings, and training sessions are delivered as per contract requirements.</li> <li >Support project close-out, defect rectification, and handover to client representatives.</li> </ul> <h3 >Candidate Profile</h3> <ul > <li >Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.</li> <li >Capable of managing multiple priorities and working under pressure.</li> <li >Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all mechanical works.</li> <li >Strong teamwork and stakeholder management abilities.</li> </ul>
