Primary objective:The Training and Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the learning and development strategy across Misk Schools, ensuring that employees at all levels are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to perform effectively and grow within the organization. The role leads the full training cycle, from identifying development needs to designing, delivering, and evaluating high-impact learning programs.<br>Working closely with Human Resources leadership and department heads, the Training and Development Manager builds a culture of continuous learning that supports Misk Schools' strategic objectives, strengthens employee engagement and retention, and prepares talent for future leadership roles.<br>Areas of responsibility:Design and lead the annual Training and Development strategy and plan in alignment with Misk Schools' overall Human Capital strategy and objectives. Collaborate with department heads and line managers to align training initiatives with performance management and career development plans. Support succession planning efforts by identifying high-potential employees and designing targeted development interventions. Ensure all mandatory and compliance-related training (e.g., safeguarding, health and safety, code of conduct) is completed and properly documented. Maintain accurate training records and certificates, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements. Keep abreast of best practices, emerging trends, and innovations in learning and development, and recommend improvements accordingly. Prepare periodic reports and dashboards on training activities, participation, and outcomes for HR leadership and senior management. Undertake additional duties as and when required by the line manager.<br>Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (essential). Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field (preferred). Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Training and Quality Manager role based at Wooden Coffee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously updating training programs for baristas, supervisors, and support staff, while ensuring consistent service standards and product quality across all locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing training needs, developing training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), leading workshops and on-the-job coaching, and monitoring employee performance against defined quality standards and KPIs. The Training and Quality Manager will conduct regular store audits, review customer feedback, and collaborate with Operations leadership to implement process improvements and corrective actions. The role will also be responsible for maintaining training records, preparing reports on training effectiveness and quality trends, and supporting new store openings and onboarding initiatives to ensure teams are aligned with Wooden Coffee’s brand standards, safety requirements, and hygiene practices.<br><br>Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Education, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector, preferably within the coffee or café industry. Experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs, ideally within hospitality, retail, or food and beverage environments. Strong background in quality assurance, including developing standards, conducting audits, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
