As a Storekeeper, you will need to:<br>Inventory Management & Stock Handling Manage the proper organization, storage, and handling of materials, goods, and supplies within the storeroom. Ensure all inventory is stored appropriately to prevent damage, contamination, loss, or waste. Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, returns, and transfers. Plan and conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks to ensure stock records are accurate. Monitor the condition of stored goods and report damaged, expired, missing, or discrepant items to the Purchasing Manager or Chief Accountant. Ensure stock is clearly organized and easily accessible when required.<br>Receiving & Inspection of Deliveries Oversee the receiving of deliveries and check goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and supporting documentation. Verify the quantity and general condition of received goods. Report any shortages, damages, discrepancies, or expired items to the Purchasing Manager or Chief Accountant and follow up with suppliers as required. Ensure all received goods are properly documented and recorded according to company procedures. Safely move and store received items in their designated locations.<br>Stock Issuance & Distribution Control the issuance and distribution of goods to various departments based on approved requisitions. Ensure requested items are issued in the correct quantity and within the required timeframe. Maintain proper documentation for all stock issued, returned, or transferred. Ensure the timely fulfilment of departmental stock requirements. Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded for inventory control purposes.<br>Stock Rotation & Waste Minimization Implement and enforce proper stock rotation procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out) and other applicable inventory practices. Monitor perishable and non-perishable goods to minimize spoilage and unnecessary waste. Identify and report slow-moving, excess, damaged, or expired inventory. Oversee the proper handling and disposal of damaged or expired goods in accordance with company procedures.<br>Documentation & Record Keeping Maintain accurate and organized records of stock receipts, issues, returns, and inventory movements. Update inventory records and prepare supporting documentation for all stock transactions. Coordinate periodic inventory counts, reconciliations, and audits with the Finance team. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and filed in accordance with company policies and Finance procedures. Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve stock-related issues, escalating where necessary.<br>Housekeeping, Safety & Compliance Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized storeroom at all times. Ensure goods are stored safely and appropriately to prevent accidents, damage, or contamination. Follow all company health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures. Maintain appropriate housekeeping standards within all storage areas. Handle goods and equipment safely and report any unsafe conditions immediately.<br>Team Leadership & Collaboration Work closely with the Purchasing, Finance, and operational departments to ensure efficient storeroom operations. Supervise, guide, and train Storeroom Assistants, allocating daily tasks and monitoring performance. Support the Purchasing Manager and Chief Accountant with daily operational requirements and inventory-related activities. Communicate effectively regarding stock shortages, discrepancies, damaged goods, or other operational concerns. Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager, Chief Accountant, or management.<br>Key Qualifications Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent; a diploma or certification in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, Finance, or Supply Chain is an advantage. Minimum two to three years' experience in a storeroom, warehouse, inventory, or receiving role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment. Solid working knowledge of inventory control, stock handling, and receiving procedures. Previous experience supervising or coordinating a small storeroom team is an advantage. effectively.</li><li>Lead capital expenditure planning and asset preservation strategies.</li><li>Monitor utility consumption and sustainability initiatives.</li><li>Embed responsible operations and sustainability practices into daily resort routines, including resource efficiency, waste awareness, and environmental stewardship.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and budgets, GOP targets, and productivity goals.</li><li>Analyze operational and financial performance indicators.</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining luxury service standards initiatives.</li><li>Maintain strong crisis readiness for remote-resort operations, including business continuity, emergency communication, evacuation coordination, and operational recovery Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Management, or related field.</li><li>10+ years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, with significant exposure to resort or remote property operations.</li><li>Proven track record in managing high-performing Rooms integrated resort operations.</li><li>Strong Rooms Division background with the ability to oversee complex guest journeys, housekeeping standards, concierge services, and front office excellence in a luxury resort setting.</li><li>Demonstrated success in driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance in an international luxury environment.</li><li>Strong executive presence with the ability to represent an iconic resort and uphold Forbes-recognized standards of service and quality.</li><li>High level of resilience, adaptability, and sound judgment required to succeed in a remote destination with complex logistics and elevated guest expectations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications </strong></p><ul><li>Fluency in English required; additional languages considered an advantage.</li><li>Prior experience in remote, island, or ultra-luxury resort environments.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural teams and foster engagement in isolated settings.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen with expertise in room revenue optimization, luxury guest journey design, and service innovation.</li><li>Experience embedding sustainability, responsible tourism, and community engagement initiatives into resort operations.</li><li>Similar experience in a Forbes 5-star property preferred.</li><li>Solid financial discipline with the ability to balance cost control, asset preservation, productivity, and uncompromising luxury service delivery.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Performance Metrics</strong></p><ul><li>Guest satisfaction scores, online reputation rankings, and Forbes/LQA audit results against targets.</li><li>Achievement of GOP, budget, and Rooms Division revenue targets (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy).</li><li>Cost per occupied room, labor productivity, and delivery of cost-saving initiatives.</li><li>Preventive maintenance completion rate and capex projects delivered on time and within budget.</li><li>Utility consumption and sustainability targets aligned with Red Sea Global's environmental commitments.</li><li>HS&E and security audit compliance, timely closure of action items, and incident rates.</li><li>Emergency preparedness, including completion of drills and crisis readiness reviews.</li><li>Colleague engagement, retention, and succession plans in place for key positions.</li><li>Timely delivery of
