With operations serving Saudi Arabia and Syria, Westeel is focused on developing a strong regional manufacturing platform built around engineering capability, efficient production, competitive procurement, strict quality control, reliable project delivery, and long-term customer relationships. As the business continues to expand its production capacity and market presence, Westeel is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead the company through its next stage of growth. Position Objective The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the performance of Westeel, including sales, estimation, engineering, procurement, production, project execution, quality, financial performance, workforce productivity, and business development. The successful candidate must be capable of running the company as a complete business—not simply managing factory operations. The GM will be expected to establish clear targets, build a strong management team, improve systems and controls, increase production efficiency, expand Westeel's customer base, and ensure that projects are delivered profitably, safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Business Leadership & P<ake full responsibility for Westeel's operational and financial performance. Develop and implement the company's annual business plan, budget, revenue targets, production targets, and profitability objectives. Monitor revenue, gross margin, overheads, cash flow, receivables, production costs, and overall profitability. Provide management with clear monthly reporting covering commercial, operational, production, and financial performance. Identify underperformance early and implement corrective actions. Build scalable systems and organizational structures capable of supporting significant future growth. Sales & Business Development Lead the commercial growth of Westeel across Saudi Arabia and regional markets. Develop strong relationships with EPC contractors, industrial companies, developers, consultants, government entities, and major private-sector clients. Build and manage a structured sales pipeline. Ensure the sales team actively develops new customers rather than depending solely on existing relationships or incoming inquiries. Review major quotations, commercial proposals, and contract negotiations. Ensure projects are selected based on profitability, capacity, strategic value, and commercial risk. Support development of long-term framework agreements and strategic customer relationships. Estimation & Commercial Control Ensure accurate estimation of steel tonnage, material cost, fabrication hours, engineering cost, transport, erection, subcontracting, overhead, and project risk. Establish strong tender review and bid approval procedures. Ensure quotations reflect realistic production and procurement costs. Monitor estimated versus actual project costs and use completed-project data to improve future estimates. Protect company margins during contract negotiation and project execution. Prevent uncontrolled discounts, scope gaps, and commercially weak commitments. Engineering & PEBOversee structural steel and PEB engineering functions. Ensure designs are optimized for safety, constructability, fabrication efficiency, and steel weight. Promote value engineering and economical structural solutions. Ensure engineering deliverables are completed according to project schedules. Strengthen coordination between engineering, estimation, procurement, production, and site teams. Ensure compliance with applicable international and local codes and customer specifications. Manufacturing & Production Take overall responsibility for factory production performance. Establish clear weekly and monthly production targets measured in tonnes, fabrication hours, utilization, productivity, and delivery performance. Improve factory workflow from raw material receiving through cutting, drilling, fitting, welding, blasting, painting, packing, and dispatch. Minimize bottlenecks, idle manpower, excessive overtime, rework, and material waste. Ensure proper production planning and capacity allocation between projects. Develop measurable productivity benchmarks for each production activity. Drive continuous improvement and increasing automation within the factory. Ensure machinery and equipment are properly utilized, maintained, and upgraded when commercially justified. Procurement & Supply Chain Develop reliable sources for structural steel plates, coils, beams, channels, angles, consumables, paint systems, fasteners, and other required materials. Establish strong supplier qualification and procurement controls. Maintain competitive sourcing without compromising material quality or delivery reliability. Reduce dependence on single suppliers. Negotiate strategic supply agreements where appropriate. Coordinate procurement closely with production schedules to minimize shortages and excessive inventory. Ensure traceability of materials and compliance with project specifications. Project Delivery Maintain oversight of major projects from award through engineering, procurement, fabrication, delivery, erection, completion, and collection. Ensure contractual milestones are achieved. Monitor project schedules and intervene before delays become critical. Ensure clear responsibility between factory, project management, logistics, and erection teams. Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout project execution. Ensure variations and additional works are properly documented and commercially recovered. Quality, HSE & Compliance Maintain a strong quality-management culture throughout the organization. Ensure fabrication complies with approved drawings, welding procedures, inspection requirements, material specifications, and applicable standards. Reduce NCRs, customer complaints, rejected material, repair welding, and rework. Maintain proper welding qualifications, inspection records, material certificates, traceability, and quality documentation. Ensure strong HSE standards across factory and project sites. Ensure company operations comply with regulatory, contractual, and internal governance requirements. People & Organization Build a competent and accountable management team. Define clear responsibilities and reporting lines across departments. Establish KPIs for department heads and key personnel. Conduct structured management and performance-review meetings. Identify skills gaps and recruit strong technical and commercial personnel where required. Develop internal talent and succession planning. Create a culture based on accountability, urgency, teamwork, transparency, and measurable performance. Take corrective action where persistent underperformance exists. Key Performance Indicators Performance will be evaluated against measurable business results including:Annual revenue and sales growth Gross profit and net profitability Steel tonnage sold and fabricated Factory productivity and utilization Production cost per tonne Material utilization and scrap percentage On-time project completion Engineering turnaround time Procurement savings and material availability Customer acquisition and repeat business Tender conversion rate Accounts receivable and cash collection Reduction in rework and NCRsEmployee productivity HSE performance Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate should have:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Preferred Industry Background Candidates from organizations involved in:Pre-engineered buildings Structural steel fabrication Heavy steel fabrication Industrial steel structures Oil & gas fabrication EPC manufacturing Steel buildings Warehouses and industrial facilities Large-scale metal manufacturingwill be strongly preferred. Candidate Profile Westeel is looking for a hands-on business leader, not an office-based administrator. The successful candidate should be comfortable moving between the factory floor, engineering department, commercial meetings, project reviews, suppliers, and major customers. The individual must understand both sides of the business:how to manufacture steel efficiently and how to sell it profitably. The GM will be expected to build systems, challenge inefficiencies, develop people, generate business, protect margins, and take ownership of results. This position is suitable for a senior steel-industry professional who wants the opportunity to lead and substantially grow an ambitious regional manufacturing business.

Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables everyone to find the answers they need in real time, using all their data, at scale — unleashing the potential of businesses and people. The Elastic Search AI Platform, used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, brings together the precision of search and the intelligence of AI to enable everyone to accelerate the results that matter. By taking advantage of all structured and unstructured data — securing and protecting private information more effectively — Elastic’s complete, cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability help organizations deliver on the promise of AI.

What is The Role:

The Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) is the technical force multiplier of Elastic's partner ecosystem. Where an account Solutions Architect wins one deal at a time, you build the technical capacity of a focused portfolio of partners — system integrators, resellers, MSSPs and cloud providers — so they source pipeline, win deals and deliver Elastic without us in the room.

The role rests on three pillars: drive growth with and through partners (partner-sourced pipeline); act as an architect of leverage (every partner engineer you certify adds technical selling capacity Elastic didn't have to hire); and co-innovate on repeatable solutions (joint blueprints, demos and partner-built offerings on our technology — including vertical and managed solutions Elastic doesn't build itself).

This is a pre-sales role that carries a partner-sourced pipeline target. You will work a defined portfolio of managed partners, each with an agreed technical engagement plan, and be measured on outputs — partner sourced deals, committed engagement plans and published assets — not on activity volume.

How Success Is Measured

We measure this role on four transparent objectives, reviewed quarterly with evidence: approved partner-sourced deal registrations against territory targets (the headline metric); execution of the partner sales playbooks that grow average deal size; committed and reviewed Technical Engagement Plans; and published repeatable assets. Pipeline and capacity, not activity.

What You Will Be Doing:

Generate approved partner deal registrations, jointly owned with Partner Managers for your territory. Run partner-tailored sales playbooks on registered deals: qualify the deal shape, support intake and technical scoping, and help partners attach their own services — lifting average deal size. Accelerate partner-led opportunities, hands-on labs and proofs of concept, in collaboration with account AEs and SAs. Own the technical relationships and named champions at each partner in your portfolio; build trusted advisor status with senior technical stakeholders. Create, commit and maintain a Technical Engagement Plan per focus partner — the technical section of the Joint Business Plan — and run quarterly read-outs with the partner, Partner Manager and other stakeholders. Deliver enablement and certification roadmaps — workshops, hands-on labs, accreditations, certifications — that move partners up a defined technical maturity model, from first knowledge to fully autonomous, market-leading practices. Co-architect solution blueprints and reference architectures with partners, including hyperscaler patterns on AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. Back partner-built solutions on Elastic — vertical, sovereign and managed offerings that extend our product surface beyond what Elastic builds itself. Build reusable demos, sales cards and battlecards partners can run without Elastic in the room; co-publish reference win stories and joint blog posts. Everything lands in a central repository for reuse across the ecosystem.

What You Bring:

8+ years in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies.5+ years of pre-sales experience in the software sector, ideally partner-facing: channel, alliances, SI/GSI or MSSP ecosystems. A one-to-many mindset: you would rather teach ten engineers to run the demo than run it ten times yourself, and you can show where your enablement turned into someone else's win. Working knowledge of security operations (SIEM, endpoint, cloud security) and/or observability — the solution areas where our partner business is growing fastest — plus an understanding of AI and semantic search technologies (RAG, vector search, NLP). Professional experience architecting or operating solutions on AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure. Commercial fluency: you can read a deal, talk services scope and margin with a partner, and translate technical capability into the business case their customer buys. Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences — a partner engineer in the morning, an architect in the afternoon, an executive sponsor in the evening. Comfort with ambiguity and a self-starter's bias to action; you inspire partner teams to work on what is most relevant, not just what is urgent.
