Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals, with strong attention to detail and safety practices. Competence in basic electrical and networking concepts relevant to AV setups, including device connectivity, signal flow, and equipment mounting. Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients in a site-based environment. Strong problem-solving abilities, including diagnosing AV issues, recommending solutions, and completing tasks with minimal supervision. Previous experience working as an AV technician or subcontractor on commercial or institutional projects in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Saudi Arabia, adhere to local regulations and client policies, and follow company standards for quality and safety. Relevant technical certification or vocational training in audio-visual technology, electronics, or a related field is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:Project Management & Execution Lead and manage the overall delivery of the HVDC project in compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, and international standards. Develop and implement project execution strategies, schedules, and budgets. Oversee the full project cycle, including planning, engineering, procurement, logistics, site installation, testing, and commissioning of HVDC systems. Ensure the integration of converter stations, substations, control & protection systems, and transmission lines. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Stakeholder & Client Management Serve as the primary interface with clients SEC and consultants on all project matters. Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and OEMs. Conduct progress review meetings, ensuring transparent reporting and effective communication with stakeholders. Technical & Quality Oversight Review and approve engineering deliverables, technical submittals, and method statements related to HVDC systems. Monitor project quality, ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, and client standards. Support and guide testing and commissioning activities for HVDC systems including bipole testing, control system integration, and energization procedures. Financial & Contractual Management Control project budget, cash flow, and resource allocation. Review claims, variations, and contractual correspondence. Ensure timely project invoicing and payments. Leadership & Team Management Lead multidisciplinary project teams (engineering, construction, HSE, QA/QC, commissioning). Coach and mentor site engineers, package managers, and support staff. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. HSE & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Drive compliance with client-specific and regulatory requirements.<br>Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Power Engineering (Master’s preferred).12–18 years of experience in power transmission projects, with at least 5–8 years in HVDC projects. Strong knowledge of HVDC systems including converter stations, valve halls, transformers, control & protection systems, and DC transmission lines. Proven track record of managing large EPC projects in the energy/power sector. Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, CIGRÉ) and client standards (SEC) Excellent project management, contractual, and leadership skills. Integrated Management Systems & Environmental Senior Specialist<br>Purpose of the Job<br>The Quality & Environmental Management Systems Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continually improving the Integrated Management System (IMS) for a port and terminal operation in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. He/she will act as the owner of the management systems for the terminal, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and standards, including those of Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) and the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC), while driving improvements in service quality, safety and environmental performance.<br>Reporting ToHSE Manager<br>Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities<br>1. Integrated Management System (IMS) – Ports & Terminals Develop, implement and maintain an IMS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 for all port and terminal activities (marine, yard, gate, warehouse, maintenance, administration). Lead gap analyses, implementation and certification projects for new or existing terminals. Establish and maintain policies, procedures and work instructions covering cargo handling, vessel operations, stevedoring, equipment maintenance, marine services and support functions. Ensure alignment of IMS processes with port authority requirements, terminal concessions, licenses and permits.<br>2. Quality Management (ISO 9001) Ensure robust quality processes across the terminal (planning, operations, maintenance, customer service). Implement and maintain systems for nonconformities, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement. Define and monitor quality KPIs, such as vessel turnaround time, truck turnaround time, equipment availability, damage rates, and service reliability. Support operational teams in root cause analysis for operational incidents (cargo damage, service failures, delays) and implement corrective actions. Coordinate customer complaint handling and ensure timely, professional response to shipping lines, agents and cargo owners.<br>3. Environmental Management (ISO 14001) – Marine & Terminal Focus Develop and maintain the Environmental Management System for port and terminal operations in line with ISO 14001 and Saudi environmental regulations (NCEC and other competent authorities). Identify and assess environmental aspects and impacts related to vessel operations (ballast water, bunkering, emissions, oily water, waste from ships) and terminal operations (fuel handling, spills, stormwater, sewerage, waste management, noise, dust, energy use). Ensure compliance with environmental permits, licenses and reporting requirements issued by NCEC and other relevant bodies.<br>4. Occupational Health & Safety Management (ISO 45001) Maintain and improve the Health & Safety Management System for terminal operations in line with ISO 45001 and applicable Saudi OSH regulations. Lead and support incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions. Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with terminal HSE IMS requirements.<br>5. Audits, Compliance & Certification Plan, coordinate and conduct internal audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 across all departments and shifts. Act as Lead Auditor and primary contact for external certification and surveillance audits. Liaise with MAWANI, NCEC and other authorities on matters related to MS compliance, inspections and audits. Ensure timely closure and effectiveness of all audit findings and regulatory nonconformities.<br>6. Training, Awareness & Culture Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on quality, environment and IMS tailored to port and terminal operations (operators, supervisors, engineers, office staff, contractors). Support line managers in integrating IMS requirements into daily operations and performance management. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety and environmental stewardship.<br>7. Management Review & Reporting Prepare management review reports covering IMS performance, KPIs, audit results, incident statistics, stakeholder feedback, risks and opportunities. Provide regular reports to QHSSE VP & HSE Manager on quality, safety and environmental performance, including recommendations for improvement.<br>Qualifications / Capabilities Skills / Attributes Fluent English (spoken and written); strong ability to prepare procedures, reports and training material in English. Strong understanding of the Saudi regulatory environment related to ports and environment (MAWANI, NCEC and other relevant authorities).<br>Required Experience3–5 years of proven experience in a QHSE / Management Systems role within ports, container terminals, logistics hubs, industrial facilities or similar high-risk operations. This role is suited to a senior professional with proven Saudi mega-project experience, strong FIDIC knowledge, and the ability to manage complex multi-package environments, claims, contractual correspondence, and final-account negotiations. Key Responsibilities Lead the administration of main contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, tender documents, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and contractual correspondence.
