Prepare electrical design calculations, technical specifications, BOQs, load schedules, single-line diagrams, and construction drawings. Design and coordinate power distribution systems, substations, MV/LV networks, transformer installations, and backup power solutions. Develop electrical designs for road lighting systems, tunnel lighting, traffic management systems, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), and utility infrastructure. Coordinate interface requirements with civil, structural, mechanical, and road design disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery. Review and approve technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, and vendor documentation. Perform power system studies, including load flow, voltage drop, short-circuit, and cable sizing calculations. Ensure compliance with international standards, project specifications, local authority requirements, and utility company regulations. Participate in design reviews, value engineering workshops, and constructability assessments. Provide engineering support during construction, testing, commissioning, energization, and project handover stages. Coordinate BIM models and multidisciplinary clash detection processes.
