Summary:The Director of Nursing is responsible and accountable for managing the Nursing Department and ensuring that superior quality of nursing services are provided to patients in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner.<br><br>Managerial Responsibilities:Contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the sector through performing own responsibilities and managing direct reports performance. Ensure effective identification, allocation and utilization of the division’s resources<br>.<br>Functional Responsibilities:The Nursing Director is considered a member of the hospital leadership. His/her role is essential in achieving high quality patient care. The Nursing Director is responsible and accountable for the standard of nursing care in the hospital along with the Medical Director and Quality Director. All should work as one team to monitor and observe the standards of clinical care provided to patients all over the hospital. The Nursing Director and other nurse Managers together with the nursing staff and nursing aides are the cornerstone for the provision of a high quality and safe care. The nursing director is responsible for the direction, provision, and quality of nursing services provided to patients. The nursing director develops the nursing organizational chart as well as the nursing education and quality improvement. Ensures through his actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the CARE Hospitals and Clinics. Develop and communicate the vision and mission statement of the Nursing Department. The nursing director represents the nursing staff as one of the hospital leaders. The nursing director participates with the other hospital leaders in the decision making processes, including planning and budgeting. Recommend space, medical technology, staffing and other resources needed by the department or services and have a process in place to respond shortages. The nursing director participates in the hospital's multi-disciplinary structures (e.g., committees such as quality improvement, infection control and pharmacy and therapeutics). Conduct short and long range strategic planning in accordance with Hospital objectives. The nursing director oversees and assures that committees' recommendations are implemented at the nursing level. Provide guidance and leadership to all nursing staff to ensure effective and efficient flow of work, and ensure all employees recognize their fundamental role in the department. The nursing director assumes the authority, responsibility, and accountability for assuring proper and effective nursing services. The nursing director establishes, oversees, and approves nursing policies and procedures and nursing professional standards of practice and patient care. The nursing director ensures participation with other hospital leaders in the development of practices that promote patients and staff safety (e.g., infection control, safe medication management, safe use of medical equipment, and fire safety). The nursing director together with other relevant staff work to develop essential policies and procedures within Nursing scope. Patient transfer (internal and external) and Patient discharge. The nursing director implements an effective method for organizing the delivery of patient care (e.g. functional, team, primary care). The nursing director ensures the implementation of a policy and procedure that defines patient care delivery method(s). This includes, but is not limited to, the following:Nursing policies and procedures manual. Current nursing practice manuals/books. The nursing director ensures the competency of the nursing staff. The nursing director participates in the recruitment and hiring of qualified nurses as outlined in the leadership chapter. Role Description This full-time, on-site GSE Technician role is based major station inside the kingdom and focuses on mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and general electrician work on Ground Support Equipment. The technician will perform routine and corrective maintenance on scales and other GSE, including inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, calibrating equipment, and carrying out load tests as required. The role also involves documenting work performed, following safety and quality standards, coordinating with supervisors and colleagues, and supporting continuous improvement of maintenance processes. The technician will occasionally assist with equipment installation, non-motorized equipment servicing, and vault door maintenance as part of the broader service offering. Qualifications Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems on GSE. Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance and routine inspections to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Proficient in Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control issues using appropriate tools and methods. Knowledge of safety procedures, technical drawings, and basic electrical and mechanical principles relevant to GSE. Vocational diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related field; GSE experience is an advantage. Hands-on experience with tools, test equipment, and calibration processes; familiarity with load testing is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, including occasional shift work or overtime as operational needs require.
