As a key member of the quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>Implement and monitor Project Quality Plans, procedures, specifications, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all construction activities Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures, guidelines, forms, data collection tools, reporting systems, and checklists to enhance performance and ensure compliance Plan, execute, and participate in internal and external quality audits, including supplier audits, and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions Monitor and assess project risks throughout the lifecycle, proactively addressing potential issues to prevent scope and quality deviations Supervise on-site and off-site construction activities, including mock-ups, samples, and manufacturing processes (FAT/SAT) Lead change management initiatives for product quality improvements, ensuring effective implementation of new standards and processes Provide day-to-day support and guidance to project management teams and contractors on quality requirements and QMS implementation Lead regular quality surveillance and coordination meetings to drive continuous improvement Monitor and oversee contractors’ QMS implementation during project execution Conduct inspections and testing of construction activities, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concreting, structural works, masonry, and finishing Review and verify material test reports, mix designs, and calibration certificates Ensure all materials delivered to the site comply with approved material submittals and relevant standards Coordinate with clients and consultants on inspection requests and quality-related matters Maintain and update quality control records, including inspection reports, test results, Site Observation Reports (SORs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) Manage NCRs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions using methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean principles Ensure construction practices comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements Assist in the review and approval of QA/QC documentation Ensure all activities comply with safety and environmental requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback for process optimization Analyze quality data to identify systemic issues and report on KPIs, PQIs, and dashboards Lead site walkthroughs, raise punch list items, and review handover documentation packages Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Quality Manager, Program Director, and Client representatives<br><br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Certification in ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 19011:2018 (Audit Management) Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred) Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Strong documentation and organizational skills Excellent communication and coordination abilities Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) Expertise in non-conformance reporting and implementing corrective actions Knowledge of construction materials testing methods Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to make sound and timely quality-related decisions Collaborative approach to working with project teams and stakeholders
