Operating from the MENA region’s largest integrated defense facility, an 82,000 m² Industry 4.0 complex, the company specializes in the design, localized manufacturing, integration, and maintenance (MRO) of military land platforms, including armored vehicles, tactical trucks, artillery systems, and remote weapon stations to support the Saudi Armed Forces.<br><br><br>Job Purpose:<br>The Co-op Mechanical Engineer will support the Operations team in day-to-day manufacturing activities by assisting with production processes, equipment performance, process improvements, and operational efficiency while gaining practical engineering experience in an industrial environment.<br><br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br>* Support daily production and operational activities to ensure smooth workflow.<br>* Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.<br>* Assist in troubleshooting production and equipment-related issues.<br>* Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational challenges.<br>* Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing / 5S).<br>* Assist in monitoring production KPIs and preparing operational reports.<br>* Prepare operational documentation, work instructions, and reports.<br>* Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Supervisor.<br><br><br><br>Qualifications:<br><br>* Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.<br>* Currently enrolled in a co-op program with an official co-op letter from the university.<br>* Minimum GPA of 3.75/5.00 or 2.75/4.00.<br>* Must meet all university/program acceptance requirements for co-op placement.<br>* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and engineering principles.<br>* Strong communication and organizational skills.<br>* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience providing L1/L2 support for enterprise applications, ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of business-critical systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities across applications, databases, and APIs, along with a development background to support deployments, performance optimization, and continuous application improvement.<br>Responsibilities Provide L1/L2 support for enterprise applications by diagnosing and resolving incidents and service requests. Troubleshoot application, database, and API-related issues using SQL queries and monitoring tools. Monitor application health, investigate performance issues, and ensure high system availability. Manage incidents and service requests while ensuring compliance with defined SLAs. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and database teams to resolve complex technical issues. Support application deployments, releases, and production changes. Analyze application logs and system metrics to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures. Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures to improve support efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application reliability and performance.<br>Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in Application Support or a similar technical support role. Experience providing L1/L2 support for enterprise applications. Strong SQL skills with the ability to troubleshoot database-related issues. Experience working with APIs and diagnosing integration issues. Familiarity with application monitoring and logging tools. Development background with knowledge of application deployments and release processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
