If you have extensive experience in HV/EHV Substation Testing & Commissioning and are looking to advance your career with a leading engineering organization, we would like to hear from you.<br>Key Responsibilities Perform testing and commissioning of HV/EHV substations ranging from 13.8k V to 380k V. Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for:Power Transformers GIS/AIS Switchgear Circuit Breakers Disconnectors & Earthing Switches Current Transformers (CTs) Voltage Transformers (VTs/CVTs) Protection & Control Panels SCADA & Communication Systems Carry out protection relay testing, configuration, and validation. Perform primary and secondary injection testing. Conduct transformer testing, including:Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) Winding Resistance Insulation Resistance Functional Tests Verify control logic, protection schemes, and interlocks. Support system energization and synchronization activities. Troubleshoot equipment and system issues during commissioning. Prepare commissioning procedures, test reports, and punch lists. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Prepare daily, weekly, and final commissioning reports.<br>Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B. E. / B. Tech.). Minimum 5 years of experience in Testing & Commissioning of HV/EHV substations. Strong knowledge of protection relays, control systems, SCADA, and communication networks. Hands-on experience with GIS/AIS substations and transformer testing. Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and protection logic diagrams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. In this role you will get to provide technical and site engineering support for TBM tunnelling and underground cavern construction activities. You will support the delivery of bored tunnels and underground works by ensuring construction is executed in accordance with approved designs, construction methodologies, quality standards, and project safety requirements while coordinating closely with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.</p><p>What You'll Be Doing</p><ul><li>Support the delivery of TBM tunnelling and underground cavern construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Monitor TBM tunnelling operations, including segmental lining installation, backfill grouting, TBM advance, and operational performance.</li><li>Assist in supervising cavern excavation works using NATM, SEM, drill and blast, or other approved excavation methodologies.</li><li>Review construction activities to ensure compliance with IFC drawings, approved method statements, project specifications, and construction procedures.</li><li>Prepare and coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs) and support the resolution of technical site issues.</li><li>Support all phases of the TBM lifecycle, including assembly, launch, production tunnelling, breakthrough, reception, recovery, and decommissioning.</li><li>Assist in planning and monitoring TBM dismantling, component removal, temporary works removal, and demobilization activities.</li><li>Coordinate daily engineering activities with contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams.</li><li>Interface with Geotechnical, Survey, QA/QC, Design, and HSE teams to resolve technical issues and maintain construction progress.</li><li>Coordinate engineering activities across tunnels, caverns, shafts, cross-passages, and access adits.</li><li>Monitor and interpret geotechnical instrumentation, settlement monitoring, tunnel convergence, and ground movement data.</li><li>Verify installation and quality of ground support systems, including shotcrete, rock bolts, steel ribs, waterproofing systems, and segmental tunnel linings.</li><li>Identify unexpected ground conditions and support reporting in accordance with project Geotechnical Baseline Report (GBR) requirements.</li><li>Monitor TBM advance rates, cavern excavation progress, and construction productivity.</li><li>Support short-term planning, look-ahead schedules, progress reporting, and construction performance reviews.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly engineering and construction progress reports.</li><li>Promote compliance with project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and Life-Saving Rules.</li><li>Monitor high-risk underground activities, including confined space entry, lifting operations, TBM works, and underground construction activities.</li><li>Participate in toolbox talks, safety inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.</li><li>Support QA/QC inspections for tunnel linings, waterproofing systems, shotcrete application, and permanent support installations.</li><li>Maintain accurate engineering records, inspection reports, site diaries, and construction documentation.</li><li>Assist in preparing as-built records, handover underground construction, or major infrastructure projects.</li><li>Experience supporting TBM tunnelling projects using Earth Pressure Balance (EPB), Slurry, or Hard Rock Tunnel Boring Machines.</li><li>Experience supporting underground cavern excavation using NATM, SEM, drill and blast, or similar excavation methods.</li><li>Strong understanding of: TBM operations and tunnelling
