About the Role:We are seeking a qualified Mechanical QC Inspector to join our team on an urgent basis for a high-priority project . The ideal candidate will have solid experience in inspection and quality control of mechanical systems, particularly piping networks and HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities:Conduct material receiving inspections for wet utilities. Perform site inspections for installation works related to piping and HVAC/DCP systems. Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and approved drawings. Monitor testing and commissioning activities for metallic and non-metallic piping systems. Identify non-conformities and ensure proper corrective actions are implemented. Maintain accurate inspection records and reports. Coordinate with QA/QC team, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality standards are met. Requirements:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 6 years of experience . Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Verify construction activities such as earthworks, road works, stormwater drainage, and utility installations . Report non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and contractors to resolve site issues. Maintain inspection records, site reports, and documentation. The civil inspector will be responsible for supervising and monitoring road, bridge, highway, and infrastructure construction activities to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities related to roads, bridges, highways, and infrastructure works. Review approved drawings, method statements, technical specifications, and project requirements before starting site activities. Monitor contractors’ work and ensure compliance with approved plans, quality standards, and safety procedures. Inspect earthworks, excavation, subgrade, asphalt, concrete, drainage, utilities, and structural works. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, surveyors, inspectors, and other project team members. Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports. Identify and report site issues, delays, quality concerns, and technical problems to the Project Manager. Verify completed work and quantities against approved drawings and project requirements. Ensure that materials used on site comply with approved specifications and quality standards. Follow up on inspection requests, material approvals, and corrective actions. Attend site meetings and coordinate the implementation of agreed actions. Maintain accurate site records, reports, inspection documents, and supporting files. Ensure that all site activities are completed within the approved schedule. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.7–9 years of relevant experience in roads, bridges, highways, or infrastructure projects. Experience in construction supervision or site execution. Good knowledge of civil construction methods, drawings, and technical specifications. Familiarity with quality, safety, and site inspection requirements. Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Auto CAD. GCC or Saudi Arabia experience is preferred. Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is preferred.
