Job Description – Site HSE Manager Job Title: Site HSE Manager Job Purpose:Lead and manage all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities at the wastewater treatment plant to ensure a safe working environment, regulatory compliance, environmental protection, and continuous improvement of HSE performance while supporting reliable plant operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the site's Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, client requirements, and applicable Saudi regulations and standards. Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate emergency drills. Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, chemical handling, pollution prevention, and environmental reporting. Prepare HSE reports, statistics, KPIs, and performance dashboards for management and clients. Coordinate with regulatory authorities, clients, consultants, and contractors regarding HSE requirements. Lead and supervise the site HSE team, ensuring high performance and continuous professional development. Exercise Stop Work Authority whenever unsafe conditions or behaviors present an immediate risk to people, assets, or the environment. Perform any other duties assigned by management within the scope of the position. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), preferably within wastewater treatment plants, water treatment facilities, industrial plants, or operation and maintenance projects.
