<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The BAN-2 / Inert Entry Technician is responsible for performing safe entry and operations inside nitrogen-inserted & oxygen-deficient vessels during shutdown, maintenance, and refinery operations. This role requires strong knowledge of confined space safety and safe work practices under hazardous conditions.</p>
<p>Perform inert entry into nitrogen-filled or oxygen-deficient confined spaces.</p>
<p>Follow all safety protocols for oxygen monitoring, gas testing, and emergency readiness.</p>
<p>Use supplied air systems (SABA), lifelines, harnesses & breathing equipment correctly.</p>
<p>Support catalyst handling, vessel entry, tank entry, and reactor opening activities.</p>
<p>Coordinate with BA/N Technicians, Safety Officers, and Supervisors for controlled entry.</p>
<p>Maintain communication with the attendant & rescue team during all confined space operations.</p>
<p>Ensure equipment integrity: hoses, regulators, breathing mask, safety harness, tripods, etc.</p>
<p>Monitor conditions inside the vessel and report abnormalities immediately.</p>
<p>Assist in shutdown, turnaround, and high-risk plant operations.</p>
<p>Follow PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO, and refinery HSE procedures strictly.</p>
<p><strong>ITI / Diploma / Technical Qualification</strong></p>
<p><strong>3 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / Shutdown / Refinery</strong></p>
<p><strong>Strong experience in:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Nitrogen / Inert Entry operations</li>
<li>Confined Space Safety</li>
<li>Supplied Air Breathing Systems (SABA)</li>
</ul>
<p>Gulf Experience Preferred</p>
