The incumbent leads the setup and operation of the maintenance organization for the recycling facility, including the scrap processing, delacquering, melting and casting, homogenizing, sawing, and associated utility systems. The role provides leadership in establishing and maintaining records of all plant assets, delivering cost-effective and reliability-centered maintenance, monitoring and forecasting the maintenance budget, building strong working relationships between Production and Maintenance, and controlling maintenance warehouse inventories.<br> As this is a new facility, the role carries a strong readiness and establishment component during the project and commissioning phase, including building the maintenance strategy, populating the CMMS, defining the spare parts philosophy, and developing the maintenance team to operational readiness before first hot metal. The plant operates 365 days per year, which requires extensive planning, organization, and effective delegation and communication to subordinates to achieve production goals while meeting governing laws, regulations, and policies.<br> The incumbent must have highly developed human relations skills to direct, coach, lead, and motivate subordinates and to address the competing and conflicting demands of operation, reliability, and engineering services. Contacts consist equally of plant personnel, other Maaden plants, and outside vendors or consultants. The incumbent will maintain standardization of the maintenance program across the department in line with plant maintenance philosophy and will manage the maintenance department and necessary maintenance service contracts. <strong>Key Accountabilities</strong> <strong>Technical Support</strong><br> Oversee the operation of the assigned maintenance areas to ensure departmental objectives are achieved. Accountable for work hours, headcount, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Provide leadership and direction for the deployment of world-class maintenance planning practices across the recycling plant. Promote and facilitate employee involvement and interdepartmental teams in defining, analyzing, and affecting maintenance of plant equipment. <p>Position Summary: </p><p>The Lead Planner – Mechanical is accountable for planning and scheduling, cost control, invoicing, progress reporting, client coordination, meetings, and correspondence for mechanical construction scopes on major industrial projects in Saudi Arabia. The role oversees baseline schedule development, resource and manpower loading, progress measurement, earned value, look-ahead planning, delay analysis, recovery planning, and completion forecasting across greenfield and brownfield projects.
