<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Who we are looking for <ul><li>This managerial position has responsibility for managing the day to day Fund Accounting administration service ensuring that all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time and in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards.</li><li>You will act as a senior escalation point within the team for all internal State Street and Client related queries and is expected to take ownership or delegate as appropriate.</li><li>The role holder is expected to work with State Street’s Outsourced Service centers and Centers of excellence ensuring that all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards</li><li>The candidate will also be responsible for the management of staff, ensuring that all staff are trained, coached and developed in line with their role and development pathways.</li><li>The Accounting Officer is directly responsible for leading projects, performing team and department level analysis of the process, running initiatives related to all aspects of the business at departmental level.</li><li>The candidate is expected to be well versed in Arabic to be able to translate/review statements that may require translations to English by Operational FA teams</li><li>This position is based out of Riyadh, KSA but may include other Middle East domicile funds in remit</li></ul> We are looking for exceptional individuals to help drive this continued success and contribute positively to our market leading position What you will be responsible for As Fund Accounting Officer you will <ul><li>Oversee Valuations for specified clients and ensure that all relevant checks to the Funds NAVs have been completed. This will include checks against fund benchmarks and reasonability reports.</li><li>Maintain managerial oversight of all operations conducted by the Fund Group.</li><li>Act as escalation point for technical issues encountered in the daily business.</li><li>Ensure sufficiently trained staff are available to service the clients and deliver quality service.</li><li>Monitor errors and potential losses/ breaches. Complete loss/breach documentation and ensure remediation/ training are identified and relevant remedial action is taken and training (as appropriate) is completed.</li><li>Attend service calls as required and plan accordingly for confirmed projects. <section>Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities<div class="paragraph">The opportunity HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Advisor Factory Operations (Saudi Arabia) Position Overview The HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Advisor plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental performance of all personnel working in and around the new HVDC factory, including employees, contractors, and visitors. During the operational phase, the HSE Advisor maintains effective HSE management systems, ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate requirements, and supports a safety-first culture through proactive risk management, training, audits, and continuous improvement. This position requires strong leadership and practical safety knowledge, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across operations, maintenance, engineering, logistics, quality, and project teams. Responsibilities 1. HSE Management & Safety Leadership Implement and maintain HSE management systems for the factory operations phase, aligned with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification activities across operations, including job hazard analysis (JHA), worksite surveys, and safety inspections. Lead and support permit-to-work (PTW) implementation, safe work practices, and control of high-risk activities (e.g., work at height, lifting, hot work, confined space where applicable). Drive incident prevention by ensuring robust use of leading indicators (observations, audits, safety rounds, near-miss reporting). Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; analyze root causes (as required) and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented and verified. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Conduct internal audits/inspections and support external inspections and audits by authorities and certification bodies. Review HSE-related documentation and ensure adequate readiness for audits (e.g., inspection records, training records, incident reports, management of change where required). 4. Training, Competence & Communication Develop, deliver, and maintain HSE training programs for employees and contractors, based on job roles and risk exposure (induction, refresher training, task-specific training).
