NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf”.<br>In this context, NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (36 months).<br>The overall objective of this assignment is to provide strategic, technical and logistical communication support to DG MENA in the planning, development and implementation of its day-to-day communication activities, with the aim of strengthening the visibility, outreach and impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf region.<br>Senior Non-Key Expert - Events Manager<br>Responsibilities Planning, coordinating and delivering conferences, seminars, workshops, press events and public outreach activities;Managing all logistical aspects of institutional events, including venue coordination, participant registration and supplier liaison;Coordinating event schedules, speakers, moderators and technical service providers;Supporting protocol arrangements and the participation of high-level EU officials, partner institutions and external stakeholders;Supervising on-site event implementation and ensuring smooth delivery;Coordinating event-related communication materials and participant information;Supporting post-event reporting, evaluations and lessons learned;Working closely with communication teams, service providers and DG MENA to ensure the successful implementation of events.<br>Minimum Qualification and Skills University degree (or equivalent professional experience) in event management, communication or hospitality;Fluent English;French and/or Arabic an asset.<br>Minimum General and Specific Professional Experience5 years' general experience in event organisation and logistics;3 years' specific experience managing institutional/communication events.

Event support experts will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical – to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.</p>
