<li>Hello,</li> <li> </li> <li>WAO Engineering Consultancy is seeking to hire a qualified Fire Prevention and Protection Engineer or Safety Engineer from India.</li> <li> </li> <li>Job Location</li> <li> </li> <li>Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia</li> <li> </li> <li>Candidate Requirements</li> <li> </li> <li> Bachelor s degree in Fire Prevention and Protection Engineering or Safety Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, Kerala, India.</li> <li> </li> <li> Minimum of 5 years of professional experience after graduation in the same specialization.</li> <li> </li> <li> Previous professional experience in Saudi Arabia is strongly preferred.</li> <li> </li> <li> The candidate must be eligible for registration and professional accreditation with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) as a Fire Prevention and Protection Engineer or Safety Engineer.</li> <li> </li> <li> The degree, university, and specialization must be recognized and accepted by the Saudi Council of Engineers.</li> <li> </li> <li>Mandatory Revit & Design Requirement</li> <li> </li> <li> Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP is mandatory.</li> <li> </li> <li> The candidate must have strong practical experience in independently designing fire protection and life safety systems using Autodesk Revit MEP.</li> <li> </li> <li> The candidate must be capable of preparing complete fire protection engineering drawings, BIM models, layouts, design drawings, construction drawings, coordinated drawings, and technical details using Revit MEP.</li> <li> </li> <li> Candidates without strong practical experience in fire protection design and drawing preparation using Autodesk Revit MEP will not be considered.</li> <li> </li> <li>Technical Experience</li> <li> </li> <li>The candidate must have strong practical experience in:</li> <li> </li> <li> Fire Protection System Design</li> <li> </li> <li> Fire & Life Safety Design</li> <li> </li> <li> Preparation, review, and analysis of fire protection drawings and engineering plans</li> <li> </li> <li> Fire Alarm System Design</li> <li> </li> <li> Firefighting System Design</li> <li> </li> <li> Automatic Sprinkler System Design</li> <li> </li> <li> Fire Pump Sizing and Selection</li> <li> </li> <li> Hydraulic Calculations for sprinkler and firefighting systems</li> <li> </li> <li> Fire Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis</li> <li> </li> <li> Means of Egress and Life Safety Analysis</li> <li> </li> <li> Practical application of NFPA Codes and Standards</li> <li> </li> <li> Practical application of Saudi Building Code (SBC) requirements related to fire protection and life safety</li> <li> </li> <li> Preparation and review of technical calculations, design reports, fire safety reports, and compliance documents</li> <li> </li> <li> Review of:</li> <li> </li> <li>* Design Drawings</li> <li>* IFC Drawings</li> <li>* Shop Drawings</li> <li>* As-Built Drawings</li> <li>* Material Submittals</li> <li>* Technical Submittals</li> <li>* RFIs</li> <li> </li> <li> Coordination of fire protection systems with:</li> <li> </li> <li>* Architectural</li> <li>* Structural</li> <li>* Electrical</li> <li>* Mechanical</li> <li>* HVAC</li> <li>* Plumbing systems</li> <li> </li> <li> Experience in BIM coordination and clash resolution.</li> <li> </li> <li> Good proficiency in AutoCAD in addition to Revit MEP.</li> <li> </li> <li> Knowledge of Navisworks is preferred.</li> <li> </li> <li>Engineering Consultancy & Supervision</li> <li> </li> <li> Strong experience in engineering consultancy services related to fire protection and life safety systems.</li> <li> </li> <li> Ability to review designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documents and provide professional engineering recommendations.</li> <li> </li> <li> Experience in site supervision and inspection of fire protection and life safety works.</li> <li> </li> <li> Ability to verify that site execution complies with:</li> <li> </li> <li>* Approved drawings</li> <li>* Saudi Building Code</li> <li>* NFPA Standards</li> <li>* Project specifications</li> <li>* Authority requirements</li> <li> </li> <li><br></li>
