Together, we are cultivating a connected culture where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed together.</p><p>Overview Role</p><p>The Fire Engineer will be primarily required to offer your expertise in areas related to fire protection engineering including fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and fire protection strategies across the Jensen Hughes projects in Al Khobar.This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment and advance your career within a supportive and diverse team. This role while based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia and will have assigned responsibilities for projects across Middle East.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Plan and direct design activities for your own projects.</li><li>Design fire alarm and mass notification systems.</li><li>Designing, installation, commissioning, on site testing & inspection of multiple systems including fire alarms, fire suppression systems (FM 200, foam, wet etc.)</li><li>Prepare technical reports, specifications, design drawings and presentations.</li><li>Mentor and collaborate with other local team members.</li><li>Review design and construction submittals for compliance with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Perform site surveys to inspect and evaluate building features and systems including emergency lighting and exit signs.</li><li>Interface with authorities having jurisdiction and manage client meetings.</li><li>Effectively communicate with project team members, clients, and others.</li></ul><p>Requirements and Qualifications</p><ul><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in code consulting and/or fire protection system design services with specific experience related to fire alarms design and mass notification systems.</li><li>Engineering qualification in the field of Electrical / Electronics or Mechanical preferred.</li><li>Highly motivated and ready to work in all aspects of fire protection engineering including fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and fire protection strategies.</li><li>Able to prepare technical reports, specifications, design drawings and presentations.</li><li>Able to review design and construction submittits for compliance with regulatory requirements</li><li>Able to perform site surveys to inspect and evaluate building features and systems.</li><li>Able to effectively communicate with multiple stake holders, multitasking on projects across the Middle East.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Minimum of 10 years of experience in code consulting and/or fire protection system design services with specific experience related to fire alarms design and mass notification systems.</p><p>Engineering qualification in the field of Electrical / Electronics or Mechanical preferred.</p><p>Highly motivated and ready to work in all aspects of fire protection engineering including fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and fire protection strategies.</p><p>Able to prepare technical reports, specifications, design drawings and presentations.</p><p>Able to review design and construction submittals for compliance with regulatory requirements</p><p>Able to perform site surveys to inspect and evaluate building features and systems.</p><p>Able to effectively communicate with multiple stake holders, multitasking on projects across the Middle East.</p>
<p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Overview Role </b>Jensen Hughes is seeking a Project Manager, Fire & Life Safety for managing a complex remote project in Saudi Arabia. This strategic growth position calls for professional expertise in the fire protection industry, designing, managing and supervising technically complex projects. In this role you will work with the International Codes and standards such as NFPA, IFC, IBC, GCC fire code., as well as the ARAMCO, SABIC, HCIS and GCC countries Civil Defense requirements, supervising and inspecting the sites to ensure project quality, consistency and timely delivery, building professional partnership with clients, governmental institutions and other multi-level stakeholders while leading a team of 3-6 members comprising of Engineers , Supervisors and Designers. Jensen Hughes is committed to compliance with all relevant data privacy laws in all areas where we do business, including, but not limited to, the GDPR and the CCPA.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor s Degree or higher in Engineering, (preferably Electrical/ Mechanical/Fire & Life Safety or related field), ideally working towards becoming a Chartered engineer.</li><li>15+ years of project experience covering all aspects starting from the design phase till project handover to the client and obtaining relevant authority approvals</li><li>Proven experience in managing teams along with proficiency in using engineering software and tools related to fire protection design including AutoCAD and Revit</li><li>Proven site experience covering installation, commissioning and testing of Fire Protection, Suppression & Fire Alarm systems</li><li>Proven experience in reviewing designs related to systems such as sprinklers, standpipe, hydrant, clean agent, smoke management, fire alarm, voice evacuation etc.</li><li>Proven experience in liaising with local Authority, Contractors, and Clients to obtain all required certificates for occupancy</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies and able to undertake work independently</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills</li></ul>
