Senior Groundwater Modelling Specialist Location: Remote with occasional travel to Saudi Arabia Job Type: Contract<br>About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Groundwater Modelling Specialist to support a major groundwater and environmental programme in Saudi Arabia. This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel required for client meetings, workshops, site visits, and project activities.<br>The successful candidate will lead the development and application of advanced groundwater models to support sustainable groundwater management, environmental assessments, and urban infrastructure planning. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide technical leadership throughout the modelling lifecycle, from conceptual model development through to predictive simulations and client training.<br>Key Responsibilities Collect, review, analyse, and interpret hydrological, hydrogeological, geological, and environmental datasets to support groundwater modelling studies. Develop conceptual hydrogeological models and build robust numerical groundwater models using industry-standard software such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, or equivalent. Define model boundaries, hydrostratigraphy, hydraulic properties, boundary conditions, and initial conditions. Calibrate and validate groundwater models using observed field data and undertake sensitivity and uncertainty analyses. Perform predictive groundwater simulations to evaluate management strategies, environmental impacts, and future development scenarios. Develop interactive dashboards and visualisation tools to communicate modelling results and project performance. Prepare high-quality technical reports, modelling documentation, presentations, and project deliverables. Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer sessions to client personnel on groundwater modelling methodologies, software, and interpretation of results. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including hydrogeologists, hydrologists, environmental specialists, GIS professionals, and engineers. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project quality standards, HSE requirements, and client expectations.<br>Required Qualifications MSc or PhD in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 15 years of experience in groundwater modelling and hydrogeological investigations. Demonstrated expertise in conceptual and numerical groundwater modelling. Advanced experience using MODFLOW, FEFLOW, or comparable groundwater modelling software. Strong understanding of groundwater flow processes, aquifer characterisation, hydraulic parameter estimation, model calibration, validation, and sensitivity analysis. Experience supporting urban groundwater, infrastructure, or environmental water resource projects. Experience developing dashboards and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Arc GIS Dashboards, Python, or similar). Strong technical report writing and presentation skills. Experience delivering client training and knowledge transfer programmes. Excellent communication skills in English.<br>Preferred Experience Previous experience supporting groundwater resource management projects in arid or semi-arid environments. Experience working with government agencies, utilities, or major infrastructure projects. Familiarity with GIS software and groundwater data management. Product Engineer – Plastics & Tooling - Saudi - VISA and relocation package <br>We are looking for an experienced Product Engineer – Plastics & Tooling to lead the industrialisation of injection moulded components from concept through to production launch.<br>This is a key technical role focused on DFM, Moldflow simulation, tooling development, and production ramp-up, with strong exposure to international industrialisation projects across Saudi Arabia.<br>You will support the initial plant ramp-up in Eastern Saudi Arabia, followed by the transfer and scaling of processes to Western Saudi Arabia, working closely with engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.<br>???? What you will do Lead industrialisation of plastic components from concept to SOPSupport plant ramp-up and stable production launch in Eastern Saudi Arabia Transfer and scale processes to Western Saudi Arabia Perform feasibility studies and DFM optimisation Run and interpret Moldflow simulations (fill, pack, warp) Define tooling concepts and manage tool development with suppliers Lead tool trials (T0–T2) and ensure production readiness Troubleshoot moulding and process issues during ramp-up Work closely with engineering, suppliers, quality, and manufacturing teams Support technical discussions with OEM / Tier 1 customers<br>???? What we are looking for Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or similar Strong experience in injection moulding / plastics engineering Solid knowledge of DFM, Moldflow, and tooling development Experience with tooling suppliers and production ramp-up International or greenfield project experience is a plus Willingness to work on projects in Saudi Arabia (Eastern & Western regions) Hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented mindset<br>????
