The Receiver supports overall stock accuracy, coordinates effectively with suppliers and security personnel, and is responsible for maintaining a safe, organized receiving area in full compliance with company standards.</p> <h3 >Core Responsibilities</h3>
<p >The Receiver's duties encompass comprehensive inventory management, operational coordination, and adherence to established procedures. Key responsibilities include managing inbound deliveries, processing returns and transfers, ensuring precise stock documentation, and maintaining an organized and compliant receiving environment.</p> <h3 >Inventory Management and Processing</h3>

<li >Receive deliveries using the blind receiving process, verifying all goods against purchase orders.</li>
<li >Inspect barcodes, quantities, production/expiry dates, packaging integrity, and overall product quality.</li>
<li >Ensure the presence of the Operations Manager when receiving high-value or sensitive items.</li>
<li >Record all received goods in designated registers and update actual quantities in the system.</li>
<li >Perform daily system closure of receiving transactions, including receipts, returns (RTV), transfers, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOPs.</li>
<li >Process returns by verifying quantities, documenting reasons, and updating the system accordingly.</li>
<li >Prepare and document goods for transfers between stores, ensuring correct quantities and proper paperwork.</li>
<li >Coordinate with suppliers regarding rejected, damaged, or incorrect items.</li>
<li >Review and finalize inter-branch transfers, ensuring system accuracy and alignment with physical counts.</li>

<li >Participate in cycle counts and physical stock counts, assisting in variance investigations as needed.</li>
