Manage HSE Inspectors to ensure they are monitoring the implementation of health and safety arrangements at project site level, in accordance with legal and client requirements. Develop and deliver health, safety and environmental training to WSP employees including but not limited to; induction, safe working practices. Review and approve contractor s health, safety and environmental plans, risk assessments and method statements against legal and client requirements prior to the work being carried out. and Trenching Works, Traffic Management, and Hot Work.</p><p>Verify that only trained, competent, and authorized personnel perform high-risk tasks.</p><p>Coordinate the issuance, inspection, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</p><p>Ensure proper usage and compliance with PPE requirements across all site activities.</p><p>Inspect PPE regularly for damage, expiry, and suitability.</p><p>Support emergency response activities, including evacuation, fire response, chemical spills, and medical emergencies.</p><p>Assist the EHS team in conducting emergency evacuation drills, fire drills, and chemical spill response drills.</p><p>Ensure emergency equipment is accessible, functional, and personnel are trained on emergency procedures.</p><p>Conduct EHS induction for subcontractors and ensure they understand site-specific hazards, emergency plans, and Veolia LSR and HRMS.</p><p>Continuously monitor subcontractor compliance with EHS requirements and safe work practices.</p><p>Coordinate with subcontractors on PTW, risk assessments, and safety briefings.</p><p>Ensure compliance with environmental management requirements, including waste segregation, storage, and disposal.</p><p>Monitor proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste, including chemicals, oils, and sludge.</p><p>Support environmental monitoring activities and reporting.</p><p>Maintain and safeguard all EHS documentation, including Risk Assessments, LMRA, Work Permits, Inspection Forms, Incident Reports, Training Records, and Environmental Registers.</p><p>Prepare and submit weekly and monthly EHS reports to the Project Manager and QHSE Department.</p><p>Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Veolia standards and legal requirements.</p><p>Promote a positive safety culture and encourage proactive safety behavior among employees and subcontractors.</p><p>Identify unsafe acts or conditions during daily monitoring and take immediate corrective action.</p><p>Provide first-level guidance and coaching on safety procedures to supervisors, operators, and workers.</p><p>Support continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned from incidents and near misses.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p>B.Sc in any field, preferable to be in safety, HSE, Environment or similar Experience: 5 years in relevant field with water and wastewater HSEMS field.
