This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves supporting the Associate Director – Accounting & Tax. The primary objective is to ensure robust financial reporting, effective review of procurement transactions, and high-quality management reporting. The manager will oversee key aspects of financial close, review purchase orders, and deliver insightful reporting packages to support decision-making.</p> <h3 >Key Responsibilities</h3>
<p >The Accounting and Annual Tax Manager will be responsible for a range of critical financial functions, encompassing reporting, controls, and process enhancement. This includes overseeing financial close processes, preparing management reports, managing procurement reviews, and conducting financial analysis.</p> <h3 >Financial Reporting and Management</h3>
<ul >
<li >Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS.</li>
<li >Perform analytical review of financial results, including variance analysis and identification of key trends and risks.</li>
<li >Ensure timely submission of financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li >Prepare and review management reporting packs, including Board packs, Audit Committee materials, and Monthly Business Review (MBR) reports.</li>
<li >Develop and enhance flash reporting for senior management with clear insights and forward-looking analysis.</li>
<li >Liaise with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Operations, Commercial) to ensure completeness and consistency of reporting inputs.</li>
</ul> <h3 >Procurement, Analysis, and Controls</h3>

<li >Review and approve Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure proper coding, budget alignment, and compliance with company policies.</li>
<li >Monitor budget versus actual spend and highlight variances and cost control opportunities.</li>
<li >Support implementation of improved controls around procurement and accruals.</li>
<li >Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, cost optimization, and performance improvement.</li>
<li >Strengthen internal controls around financial reporting and transaction processing.</li>
<li >Support audit processes by providing required analysis and documentation.</li>
