In this role, you will focus on Day-2 operational activities—ensuring platform stability, performance, and enterprise-grade reliability through best practices in monitoring, scaling, patching, incident response, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with customer stakeholders, serving as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on technical expert.<br>Key Responsibilities Strategic Advisory & Governance Collaborate with stakeholders to align Open Shift capabilities with business goals and develop a platform evolution roadmap Propose enhancements to improve developer productivity and platform reliability Conduct post-incident reviews and deliver workshops/training sessions for development and operations teams<br>Operational & Technical Support Act as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and work closely with Red Hat support to resolve complex issues Provide Level 3 support and build proactive monitoring capabilities within the Open Shift environment Support configuration and change management activities, and analyze implementation plans to prevent outages<br>Container Platform Management Manage patching and updates for operating systems and Open Shift components Perform cluster capacity analysis, monitor certificate expirations, access Prometheus metrics, and analyze pod logs Handle node management (add/delete/drain nodes), project and pod management (PDB, Critical Pods), and networking (static IPs, host ports, throughput troubleshooting) Manage resource quotas, pod scheduling policies, affinity/anti-affinity rules, and eviction policies Oversee RBAC, Security Context Constraints (SCC), image management (policies, signing, promotion, pruning), backup/restore procedures, certificate redeployment, and garbage collection configuration<br>Qualifications Mandatory Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) with Open Shift specialization Proven expertise in Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) and Advanced Cluster Security (ACS) Strong experience with Day-2 operations (monitoring, scaling, patching, incident response) In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and Open Shift platform Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills<br>Preferred Arabic speaker Experience with Serverless, Service Mesh, Code Ready, Git Ops (Argo CD), Open Shift Data Foundation (ODF), Red Hat Quay, and Ansible automation<br>What Success Looks Like Stable, optimized platform with minimal downtime Proactive incident resolution and robust monitoring Strong security governance and enhanced developer productivity Comprehensive knowledge transfer to customer teams<br>Contract Details Location: Riyadh, KSA | Work Mode: 100% Onsite Duration: 6 Months | Extension: Not Applicable Start Date: Immediate joiners preferred<br>Note: This position is based 100% onsite in Riyadh, KSA, for a fixed 6-month contract with no extension
