About the Role

The Saudi National Bank (SNB) is seeking a Senior Officer Technology NOC Shift Leader to join its team. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations across Jeddah and Makkah cities. The role involves leading the real-time monitoring and maintenance of SNB's network infrastructure during assigned shifts, combining advanced technical troubleshooting with tactical team leadership.

Role Purpose and Leadership

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and lead the Network Operations Center (NOC) team in overseeing critical incidents and ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), thereby maintaining high system availability. The Senior Officer will define tasks and objectives for various teams within the section, monitoring their progress to ensure successful delivery of goals in alignment with departmental objectives and overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise NOC operations on a 24/7 basis, managing batch processing and monitoring automated jobs and services.
• Take appropriate actions to resolve issues across all IT components, including applications, systems, network, security, infrastructure, storage, and ATMs.
• Monitor the execution of production tasks, such as batch processing and operational jobs, to ensure timely transaction processing and report generation.
• Respond promptly to all alerts, addressing or escalating issues as necessary, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to maintain service standards.
• Manage SNB's datacenters and media library efficiently to support operational requirements.
• Monitor the performance of both teams and individuals, providing regular feedback to ensure optimal resource utilization and consistent delivery of quality service.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of business processes, productivity, and cost reduction.

Policies, Governance, and Budgeting

• Develop, review, and implement approved departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions, monitoring subordinates' adherence to ensure controlled operations.
• Manage the implementation of remedial actions to close audit and risk comments as agreed.
• Adhere to the Bank’s AML/CTF policy, guidelines, and all SAMA’s regulations relating to account opening, KYC, and Customer Due Diligence.
• Study and recommend enhancements to management during budgeting exercises to ensure accurate budget preparation without compromising service quality.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in technology operations, network monitoring, or a similar NOC leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage critical incidents effectively.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills across diverse IT components.

Work Environment

This full-time position operates within a dynamic 24/7 Network Operations Center environment, requiring proactive management and swift resolution of IT infrastructure issues. The role is based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah.
