Role Purpose:The System Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between ASD’s business requirements and IT solution design across the SAP S/4HANA program and the broader application portfolio. The role gathers, analyses, documents, and validates functional and technical requirements; translates business needs into system specifications; and supports delivery teams through the full SDLC from requirements gathering through testing, go-live, post-implementation support and ongoing support. Identify process gaps, automation opportunities, and integration requirements between SAP and connected application systems. Produce detailed system design specifications including data mappings, interface designs, and configuration requirements. Review and validate functional specification documents produced by the system integrator against ASD’s business requirements.3. Testing Support & Quality Assurance:Develop test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on functional specifications for SIT and UAT cycles. Support business users during UAT; facilitate defect triage, track defect resolution, and confirm fix verification. Maintain defect logs in the ITSM/test management tool; produce defect status reports for the Program / Project Manager. Validate that system behavior matches specifications and acceptance criteria before authorizing test cycle completion. Document test results, lessons learned, and UAT sign-off artefacts for each test cycle.<br>4. Data Migration Support:Collaborate with the Data Lead to document data migration requirements, source-to-target mappings, and data quality rules. Analyze legacy system data structures; identify data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment requirements. Validate data migration results at each mock run cycle; document reconciliation findings and exception reports. Support business users in data validation activities during migration dry runs and the final production migration. Ensure master data governance standards are embedded into business processes as part of go-live readiness.5. Application Portfolio & Documentation:Produce and maintain application documentation including functional specs, system integration diagrams, and configuration guides. Support analysis and requirements definition for non-SAP application initiatives: Sales Buzz, Sales Code, Shelfr, and SO99. Maintain the Share Point IT Governance library with up-to-date functional documentation, decision logs, and change records. Provide post-go-live functional support; analyze and document issues raised by business users and coordinate resolution with IT teams. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying system enhancements and automation opportunities in BAU processes.<br>Education and Certification Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
