We Are Hiring: Environmental & Sustainability Engineer – Infrastructure & Earthworks We are looking for a dedicated Environmental & Sustainability Engineer to lead environmental compliance, sustainability practices, and impact mitigation across large-scale Infrastructure and Mass Earthworks projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with local environmental regulations, monitoring site emissions, dust, and waste management, and integrating sustainable construction practices into heavy civil operations. Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and Sustainability Framework for earthworks and infrastructure activities. Conduct environmental risk assessments, site inspections, and audits covering dust control, soil erosion, noise, vibration, and hazardous material management. Oversee waste management, recycling initiatives, and resource efficiency strategies on-site. Monitor compliance with local environmental protection authorities, national environmental standards, and project-specific sustainability targets (e.g., LEED, Mostadam, or CEEQUAL). Prepare environmental reporting, incident reports, and compliance documentation for clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies. Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Required/Preferred Certifications:ISO 14001 Lead Auditor (Environmental Management Systems) LEED Green Associate / LEED AP or Mostadam Accredited Professional (AP) CEEQUAL Assessor or IEMA Membership is a plus NEBOSH Environmental Diploma / Certificate Experience: Minimum 4–6+ years of experience as an Environmental/Sustainability Engineer in major civil infrastructure, site preparation, and earthworks projects. Deep understanding of local environmental laws, waste management protocols, dust and erosion control techniques, and sustainable construction practices.
