We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to own requirements across our POS and payment acceptance product suite — from terminal applications and soft POS to merchant onboarding, transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation. You will be the connective tissue between scheme and regulatory requirements, engineering delivery, and merchant-facing outcomes, translating complex payment flows into requirements the business can ship against with confidence. What You Will Own• Requirements leadership. Elicit, define, and own business and functional requirements across the POS product suite — terminal applications, soft POS, merchant onboarding, transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation.• Domain translation. Convert business intent into structured artefacts: BRDs, FSDs, user stories, process flows, API specifications, and acceptance criteria that engineering and QA teams can execute against without ambiguity.• Scheme and regulatory alignment. Analyse and interpret mada, Visa, Mastercard, and SAMA requirements — including mada certification cycles, scheme mandates, and SAMA payment regulations — and embed them into product requirements and release plans.• Payment flows and integrations. Map end-to-end transaction journeys (authorization, clearing, settlement, refunds, reversals, disputes) across terminals, payment switches, acquiring hosts, and third-party integrations, including ISO 8583 / ISO 20022 message-level analysis where required.• Merchant lifecycle. Define requirements for merchant onboarding, KYB, pricing/MDR configuration, terminal fleet management, and merchant portal capabilities.• Stakeholder orchestration. Act as the bridge between product, engineering, QA, operations, compliance, and external parties (acquirers, scheme representatives, terminal vendors, certification bodies).• Delivery support. Drive backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, UAT planning and execution, defect triage, and go-live readiness for POS releases.• Data-informed decisions. Analyse transaction data, decline patterns, and merchant behaviour to inform product enhancements and operational improvements. What You Bring Must have• 5–8 years as a Business Analyst in payments or fintech, with at least 3 years focused on POS / payment acceptance.• Hands-on knowledge of the Saudi payments landscape: mada scheme rules, mada POS certification, SAMA regulatory framework, and Saudi Payments ecosystem.• Strong understanding of EMV (contact and contactless), NFC, terminal management systems (TMS), and soft POS / Tap-to-Phone propositions.• Working familiarity with ISO 8583 messaging, acquiring host systems, and switch integrations.• Proven ability to produce delivery-grade artefacts: BRDs, user stories, process maps (BPMN or equivalent), API specs, and UAT test scenarios.• Experience in Agile delivery environments (Scrum/SAFe), with tools such as Jira and Confluence.• Fluent English; strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong advantage• Arabic language proficiency.• Prior experience with a Saudi acquirer, payment company, or fintech (e.g., acquiring, PSP, or terminal-driven businesses).• Exposure to digital wallets, QR payments, BNPL at POS, or open banking–enabled acceptance.• Knowledge of PCI DSS and payment security requirements.• Certification: CBAP, CCBA, PSPO, or equivalent.
