Position Objective The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the performance of Westeel, including sales, estimation, engineering, procurement, production, project execution, quality, financial performance, workforce productivity, and business development. The successful candidate must be capable of running the company as a complete business—not simply managing factory operations. Key Responsibilities Business Leadership & P<ake full responsibility for Westeel's operational and financial performance. Sales & Business Development Lead the commercial growth of Westeel across Saudi Arabia and regional markets. Develop strong relationships with EPC contractors, industrial companies, developers, consultants, government entities, and major private-sector clients. Build and manage a structured sales pipeline. Ensure the sales team actively develops new customers rather than depending solely on existing relationships or incoming inquiries. Review major quotations, commercial proposals, and contract negotiations. Ensure projects are selected based on profitability, capacity, strategic value, and commercial risk. Support development of long-term framework agreements and strategic customer relationships. Estimation & Commercial Control Ensure accurate estimation of steel tonnage, material cost, fabrication hours, engineering cost, transport, erection, subcontracting, overhead, and project risk. Establish strong tender review and bid approval procedures. Ensure quotations reflect realistic production and procurement costs. Prevent uncontrolled discounts, scope gaps, and commercially weak commitments. Engineering & PEBOversee structural steel and PEB engineering functions. Ensure designs are optimized for safety, constructability, fabrication efficiency, and steel weight. Promote value engineering and economical structural solutions. Ensure engineering deliverables are completed according to project schedules. Strengthen coordination between engineering, estimation, procurement, production, and site teams. Ensure compliance with applicable international and local codes and customer specifications. Manufacturing & Production Take overall responsibility for factory production performance. Ensure contractual milestones are achieved. Monitor project schedules and intervene before delays become critical. Ensure clear responsibility between factory, project management, logistics, and erection teams. Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout project execution. Ensure variations and additional works are properly documented and commercially recovered. Quality, HSE & Compliance Maintain a strong quality-management culture throughout the organization. Reduce NCRs, customer complaints, rejected material, repair welding, and rework. Maintain proper welding qualifications, inspection records, material certificates, traceability, and quality documentation. Ensure strong HSE standards across factory and project sites. Ensure company operations comply with regulatory, contractual, and internal governance requirements. People & Organization Build a competent and accountable management team.
About the company Jisr is Saudi Arabia s leading HR and payroll platform, helping organisations digitise people operations and stay compliant with local regulations. Our platform serves fast growing SMB, mid market and enterprise customers across the Kingdom and wider GCC, giving HR and finance teams the tools they need to hire, manage and pay people with confidence. Jisr operates in a deeply regulated, culturally specific domain where the real design challenge lives in the system, not the screen. As a Product Designer you will untangle complex workflows spanning payroll, compliance, employee lifecycle and organisational structure, then shape those into coherent, trustworthy experiences for HR professionals across Saudi Arabia. Collaborate deeply with the Research team to plan studies, interpret findings and translate insights into design direction. Partner with Content Design to ensure the product speaks clearly and consistently. Show work early and often. Present concepts to stakeholders, facilitate critique sessions and use feedback to sharpen solutions rather than polish decks. Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring components reflect real usage patterns and scale across the platform. Work closely with Engineering to ensure intent carries through to implementation. Sweat the details during build and QA. Use AI-powered tools to accelerate research synthesis, explore design variations, generate content and automate repetitive tasks. Manage stakeholder relationships proactively. Communicate trade-offs clearly and build trust through transparency and delivery.

What you bring 3+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise software or complex regulated domains. A portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking: how you broke down a messy problem, mapped the landscape and arrived at a coherent solution, not just polished screens. You structure your own work and communicate proactively. Familiarity with modern AI tools and a willingness to integrate them into your design process. Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders. Experience with Figma and modern prototyping tools. Nice to have Experience designing for the MENA region or Arabic-first interfaces (RTL, bilingual flows). Background in HR tech, payroll, compliance or workforce management. Familiarity with jobs-to-be-done frameworks and service design methods. Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system at scale.

Why Jisr Shape a product used by thousands of companies in one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. Work in a design team that values depth over speed and systems thinking over feature shipping. High autonomy, async-first culture with the flexibility of fully remote work. Competitive compensation and benefits relevant to your location. Learning and development budget to invest in your growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

What you bring

3+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise software or complex regulated domains.

A portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking: how you broke down a messy problem, mapped the landscape and arrived at a coherent solution, not just polished screens.

Strong interaction and visual design skills grounded in solid information architecture.

Experience working in cross-functional squads with product managers, engineers, researchers and content designers.

Comfort operating with autonomy in an async-first, remote environment. Executive Chef – Central Kitchen | Artisan Bakery & Pastry | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
A fast-growing Saudi specialty coffee and bakery group is building a new large-scale central kitchen in Riyadh, and is looking for an Executive Chef to lead it.
Every bakery and pastry item sold across the group's branches is produced in-house and distributed daily. The new facility is a purpose-built production kitchen of approximately 1,500 m², designed to support the group's continued expansion across the Kingdom.
This is a senior operational appointment. You will own the entire production operation, leading a team of around 40 chefs, pastry chefs and bakers, and reporting into senior management. What you will own
Daily production planning and scheduling across bakery, viennoiserie and pastry lines Product quality and consistency across every branch the kitchen supplies Food cost, yield management, wastage and margin Leadership, structure, recruitment and development of the production team HACCP implementation and full SFDA compliance Distribution readiness: packing, labelling, cold chain and dispatch New product development, engineered for consistent large-batch production
What we need:
Artisan bakery and pastry must be your craft. This is the single most important requirement. We are looking for someone whose technical foundation is genuinely artisanal: laminated doughs and viennoiserie, fermentation and sourdough, breads, cakes and patisserie made properly. You should be able to set, teach and defend those standards across a large production team. Candidates from industrial or heavily automated backgrounds, or whose experience is primarily savoury, will not be a fit for this role.
Large-scale central kitchen experience is essential. You will have run a central kitchen or commissary of comparable size to the new facility (1500 sqmt), producing centrally and distributing to a network of outlets. Experience of single-site production, however impressive, is not what this role requires.
You must already be operating at executive level. We need a proven leader of large production teams with genuine ownership of cost, quality and people. This is not a step up for a senior pastry chef.
Also required:
Demonstrable experience leading teams Strong commercial fluency: recipe costing, yield analysis, food cost and wastage control Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety compliance in a regulated environment Experience standardising product across a multi-site network
Location and relocation
The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Relocation is fully supported and candidates from outside the Kingdom are encouraged to apply.
