In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating effective communication between auditors and factory personnel through accurate translation and interpretation of written documents and verbal exchanges.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Translation of Written Documents: Translate various written materials such as audit reports, technical documents, correspondence, and policies from English to Chinese and vice versa with precision and clarity.<br><br>Interpretation in Audits: Accompany auditors during factory visits and provide real-time interpretation services during meetings, interviews, and discussions between auditors and factory staff.<br><br>Language Support: Assist auditors in understanding Chinese language documents, regulations, and cultural nuances relevant to the audit process.<br><br>Communication Liaison: Act as a bridge between English-speaking auditors and Chinese-speaking factory personnel to ensure smooth communication and understanding on both sides.<br><br>Documentation: Maintain accurate records of translated documents and interpretation sessions for reference and reporting purposes.<br><br>Cultural Sensitivity: Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Proficiency in English and Chinese languages, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.<br><br>Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.<br><br>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.<br><br>Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.<br><br>Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.<br><br>Certification or accreditation in translation and interpretation is a plus
