<p>We are recruiting a founding cohort of 21 Fellows to build legal, technical and policy capacity in support of a national AI and digital governance initiative based in Riyadh. Fellows will work at the intersection of regulatory law, applied AI evaluation, AI governance, and public policy — helping stand up the frameworks, evaluation methods and institutional structures needed to govern AI systems as part of Saudi Arabia's wider digital transformation agenda.</p><br>

<p>PRIMARY FUNCTION: Represent the affiliate s medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned product(s) and relevant therapeutic area(s). Screen relevant literature and other information from relevant scientific societies meetings and conferences and develop summaries of key messages for use within the company (e.g. key areas of scientific/company interest, new trends in diagnosis, monitoring and treatments in the therapeutic area, etc.) Deliver training to sales forces and other departments; develop and update relevant training materials. Clinical Research Activities: Design and implement clinical research projects within defined standards and budgets (e.g., Phase IV, post marketing clinical activities such as registry/database projects, epidemiological surveys, and PMOS studies). Provide the required oversight to manage review, approval and conduct of IIS studies. Support the affiliate Clinical Research Department in the management of clinical studies, as appropriate (e.g., review new clinical study protocols, identifying potential investigators/sites, conducting feasibility surveys). Review and preparation of promotional / non-promotional material. Ensure the medical/scientific content is correct, balanced fair and fully compliant with AbbVie s internal policies and guidelines and in accordance with local laws. Ensure compliance with all applicable national laws and regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, AbbVie s policies and procedures and accepted standards of best practice. Strong experience in contract drafting and review, litigation, legal case management, and dispute resolution . Good knowledge of Saudi laws and regulations , particularly the Land Transport Law, Civil Transactions Law, Commercial Courts Law, Evidence Law, Enforcement Law, and Labor Law. Hands-on experience with the Najiz platform and relevant government platforms. Experience handling financial claims, enforcement proceedings, promissory notes, and legal settlements . Strong legal drafting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Good command of English , particularly for contracts and legal correspondence.
