About the Role We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to manage and maintain our refrigeration infrastructure, including industrial chillers, cold store rooms, refrigerators, and blast freezers. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, food safety, and uninterrupted cold chain operations across our production and storage facilities.<br>Key Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial chillers, freezer rooms, and blast freezer systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration units, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems. Monitor and maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels across all cold storage areas to preserve product quality. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related faults. Manage refrigerant handling, recovery, and recharging in accordance with safety and environmental regulations. Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports. Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to schedule maintenance with minimum operational disruption. Manage relationships with external service providers and spare parts suppliers. Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime.<br>Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with industrial refrigeration systems (chillers, freezer rooms, blast freezers). Strong knowledge of refrigerant types (ammonia, freon, glycol systems) and safe handling practices. Experience troubleshooting compressors, condensers, evaporators, and electrical control panels.
