Job Purpose To support the department and apply Bitumat’s approach to activities related to Health, Safety and Security and create infrastructure required to support initiatives in order to improve safety, provide a framework for compliance, and monitor performance from all entities and best practice usage for meeting the organizational objectives.<br>Strategy Participates in the development and implementation of department policies, processes and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled. Manages the maintenance and distribution of agreed safety processes and procedures to ensure that all employees are made aware of safety campaign Oversees all activities related to Hazardous Materials Identification/Management, Safety & Loss Inspection, Accident Analysis and testing in order to ensure a strict abidance to Bitumat Safety, Security and Health standards. Oversees the adoption of recommendations regarding safety technology, equipment and maintains and updates consolidated statistical data of all safety and fire related equipment/systems in Bitumat as to ensure that all desired strategy is attained. Manages the preparation and supervision of plant and building security patrol to maintain security visibility. Organises the activities of the entrance gate and plant area to ensure the proper control of personnel and vehicle movements. Ensures effective investigation and reporting of thefts, break-ins, suspected frauds, damage, arson or sabotage which affect the Company. Liaises with local security forces and maintain a level of contact, which ensures that the Company receives the highest level of assistance and information. Develops Company emergency and disaster control plans to ensure that a program is available during such emergencies. Carries out investigations into all accidents, significant incidents and fires and determine the causes. Recommend action to prevent recurrence. Carries out investigation of all significant damage to Company property, determine the cause and recommend action to prevent recurrence. Ensures that regular and effective inspection tours are made by Safety personnel daily and that corrective action is taken where necessary to fire and safety installations or procedures. Ensures that all safety and firefighting equipment is regularly inspected and maintained and that the volunteer fire brigade is properly manned and trained. Advises the Company on the use, care and control of safety equipment and personal protective equipment to minimise costs and maximise safe working. Summary: The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for leading and overseeing all Quality Assurance, Quality Control, inspection, testing, and calibration activities within the valve manufacturing process. The role ensures compliance with applicable quality management systems, customer specifications, API standards, ISO requirements, and industry regulations. The incumbent will drive continuous improvement initiatives, supervise inspection personnel, manage audits, analyze quality performance data, and maintain accurate quality records to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Quality Management & Compliance Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, API Spec Q1, and applicable customer requirements. Role Purpose:The Supplier Industrialization Quality Engineer is responsible for improving manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost performance at supplier sites. This role works closely with suppliers to optimize processes, ensure capacity readiness, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement aligned with company standards.<br>Key Responsibilities:Evaluate new and existing supplier quality systems and process capability by applying TKEC Supplier assessment policy. Deploy supplier annual audit, product audits, VDA6.3 process audits, and ensure compliance with supplier quality manual requirements to meet quality, cost and delivery targets. Conduct manufacturing process audits, time studies, and line balancing at supplier facilities Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks; implement corrective actions Support suppliers in achieving stable and capable processes (CP/CPK, cycle time, yield) Regularly review supplier performance and prepare supplier performance reports of supplier quality indicators such as Field Escapes PPM, Critical Parts Reliability, Problems Per Job, CAPA closure rate, etc. and take necessary actions to close gaps. Validate supplier capacity, layout, manpower, and equipment for new and existing products. Take ownership and lead cross functional team in supplier quality problems resolution process. Initiate and monitor supplier quality improvement programs. Review and approve process flow, work instructions, PFMEA, and control plans. Support ramp-up, volume increases, and localization projects. Support supplier readiness for new product Introduction and engineering changes. Participate and Execute APQP / PPAP activities/First Article Inspection requirements. Ensure industrialization milestones and deliverables as per Standard Product Development Process (SPDP) are met on time. Work closely with Supplier Quality, Purchasing, R&D, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers when needed. Responsible for training and deployment of Manufacturing Process Control, Variation Reduction, Control Plan Development, Mistake Proofing, 6S, Lean Production and other TKE Company sponsored supplier initiatives. Follow all safety policies, procedures and work instructions according to the safety management system and fulfil his/her responsibilities as stated in the safety manual.<br>Qualifications & Skills:<br>Qualifications:Four-year college or university certificate: Engineering qualification preferable in Mechanical/Production/Automotive/Electrical required. At least 7 years’ experience in manufacturing or supplier engineering in manufacturing set in either Automobile/Industrial/Consumer/Electronics Manufacturing environment. (Elevator manufacturing Preferred). Familiarity with Supplier Quality Management Process. Experience working directly with suppliers for Industrialization and Quality Improvement. Project Management experience will be added advantage. Proficiency is common office Software tools (Excel, PPT, Outlook, etc.) Has Worked in SAP or any other related ERP systems.<br>Skills:Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodology experience Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and control plans Ability to perform time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of 8D and similar Quality Tools. Understands various manufacturing processes involved in production. Experience and ability to visualize customer complaints and their relation to various TKE operating processes. Quality Systems Certification (ISO9001 internal auditor), Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Process Control, Six Sigma, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.<br>Additional Requirements:Willingness to travel to supplier sites as required, at least 15 days in a month.
