Job Title: QC Mechanical Manager Location: Saudi Arabia Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC Projects Company: NSH Saudi Job Summary NSH Saudi is seeking an experienced QC Mechanical Manager to lead and manage all Mechanical Quality Control activities for large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, international quality standards, client requirements, and applicable codes throughout all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Mechanical QA/QC team across project sites. Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Control Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Ensure all mechanical construction activities comply with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards. Oversee inspections related to piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, structural steel, pressure vessels, tanks, and mechanical installations. Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues. Review and approve quality documentation, inspection reports, test records, and material certificates. Monitor welding quality, NDT activities, hydrotesting, pressure testing, and mechanical completion documentation. Ensure timely closure of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), corrective actions, and punch list items. Conduct internal quality audits and support external/client audits. Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, ADNOC, or other client quality requirements where applicable. Mentor and develop QC Engineers and Inspectors to achieve project quality objectives. Prepare quality reports and present project quality status to senior management and clients. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 12–15 years of experience in QA/QC within the Oil & Gas EPC industry. At least 5 years of experience in a managerial QC role on major EPC projects. Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, ISO 9001, and other international quality standards. Experience with Saudi Aramco projects and standards is highly preferred. Thorough understanding of welding inspections, NDT, pressure testing, piping systems, rotating and static equipment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple disciplines and coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams. Preferred Certifications CSWIP 3.2 / AWS CWI (Preferred) ASNT Level II or III (Preferred) ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification NACE Coating Inspector (Preferred) Saudi Aramco Approvals (Preferred) Preferred Candidate Profile Extensive Gulf experience in large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects. Proven track record of leading Mechanical QC teams on refinery, petrochemical, offshore, or gas processing projects. Strong knowledge of quality management systems and client quality requirements. Excellent leadership, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
