We are seeking a Senior GIS/CAD Technician to join our team at NEOM and support the successful completion and close out of a major water infrastructure project.<br><br><strong>About The Opportunity<br><br></strong>Support the delivery, documentation, and handover of a major water infrastructure project during its close-out phase by managing GIS, CAD, and as-built information requirements. Working closely with engineering, construction, commissioning, and project controls teams, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate project records, developing and updating as-built drawings, managing geospatial data, and preparing final asset information for handover to the client and operations teams. This role is critical in ensuring project documentation is accurate, complete, and ready for final acceptance and operational use.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Develop, update, and maintain CAD drawings, GIS datasets, and engineering records throughout project close-out activities.</li><li> Produce and verify as-built drawings based on construction, commissioning, and site verification information.</li><li> Support the preparation of final handover packages, ensuring all drawings, maps, and asset information are accurate and complete.</li><li> Maintain geospatial databases and asset registers for water infrastructure assets, utilities, pipelines, facilities, and associated systems.</li><li> Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, and quality teams to ensure documentation reflects completed works.</li><li> Perform quality checks and validation of GIS and CAD deliverables to ensure compliance with project standards and requirements.</li><li> Manage drawing revisions, document control processes, and data updates within project information management systems.</li><li> Support site verification activities and incorporate field survey data into project records and asset databases.</li><li> Generate maps, plans, spatial analyses, and technical reports to support project close-out and handover activities.</li><li> Collaborate with client representatives and operations teams to facilitate the transfer of GIS, CAD, and asset information for long-term operational use.<br><br><br></li></ul>Here's what you'll need<br><br><ul><li> Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in GIS, CAD, drafting, or engineering documentation roles supporting infrastructure, utilities, water, transportation, or construction projects.</li><li> Technical Strong knowledge of GIS data management, CAD drafting, as-built documentation, utility mapping, engineering drawings, asset information management, and geospatial data standards.</li><li> Digital Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and document management systems. Experience working within BIM and Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms is advantageous.</li><li> Project & Commercial Experience supporting project delivery, close-out documentation, asset handover, change management, document control, and multidisciplinary coordination activities.</li><li> Behavioral Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, problem solving, stakeholder management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.</li><li> Education Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related discipline.</li><li> Preferred Experience supporting major water, utilities, or infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of asset information and handover requirements.<br><br><br></li></ul>Jacobs.
