<p>Supervise and control the entire drilling operations activities during the day shift, ensuring the successful completion of the well and drilling activities while liaising closely with OIM considering the safety of personnel, the environment, and equipment to maximize drilling operation efficiency.<br> <br> <strong> <u>Roles & Responsibilities:</u> </strong> </p>
<p> <strong>Drilling Operations:</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Ensures the safety of personnel, equipment, and the efficiency of operations on the drill floor and other drilling operation associated areas.</li>
<li>Plans and schedules all drilling and associated activity. Directs personnel towards achieving optimum job performance according to the client s requirements.</li>
<li>Ensures any deviation from client well plan (Game Plan) is approved by OIM, and that Client representative has documented in written form.</li>
<li>Consult with the OIM/Night Tool pusher and Client s Representative regarding the progress of the Drilling program and associated operations, keeping the driller informed about the ongoing drilling program objectives and communicating any changes in plans.</li>
<li>Relieve the Driller at the Driller s console as operational requirement demands.</li>
<li>Ensures by pre-planning that all necessary equipment is ready for the next phase of the Drilling / Workover program.</li>
<li>Assists & supervises drilling crew at the worksite at all relevant times, ensuring circulating time is sufficient and the well is stable on trips, when the BHA is being worked and whenever there is a hole problem.</li>
<li>Operates the drilling unit with strict adherence to company Drilling & Well Control manuals, by reviewing and approving all drilling related work permits.</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong>Well Control:</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to operational requirements - assist in supervising well killing operations in any well control situation.</li>
<li>Plans & monitors comprehensive well control parameters to proactively identify any signs of well control issues for early detection and swift response.</li>
<li>Maintains and regularly tests well control equipment, in accordance with Company s and Client s requirement ensuring its readiness and effectiveness in critical situations.</li>
<li>Perform all well control calculations (i.e., mud weight increase, initial and final circulating pressures, number of strokes, etc.).</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong>Management of Major Emergencies:</strong> </p>

<li>To be part of the installation s Emergency Response Team as detailed in the Emergency Plan and in Company Procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure that all personnel are instructed in the procedures to be adopted in the case of an emergency.</li>
<li>Ensure that Well Control and general safety drills are held and recorded in accordance with Company requirements.</li>

<p> <strong>Materials Equipment:</strong> </p>

<li>Assist the OIM/Night Toolpusher in ensuring the installation has sufficient stock of parts and materials to perform drilling and associated operations as per contractual requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure planned maintenance and repair of drilling equipment including draw works, mud pumps, top drive, rotary table, and BOP are completed and documented to ensure optimum condition and proper availability of required tools.</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong>Rig Move:</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Carries out related duties to prepare the rig for towing, ensure the cantilever, rig floor and drilling equipment are correctly secured by the drilling crew prior to the rig move.</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong>Client Management:</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Promote and maintain an effective working relationship with other departments, third party personnel and Client representatives.</li>
<li>Responds to client requests and needs concerning materials, equipment, and personnel after getting adequate management approval.</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong>Reporting and Documentation:</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Maintains proper logs and records, promptly submitting required reports as per company protocols and regulatory standards.</li>
<li>Prepare accurate and timely reports, including daily drilling reports, equipment status reports, and incident reports, to document drilling activities and operational performance.</li>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ol><li><p>Raise and maintain the quality of Trap's field services and the competency of its technicians.</p></li><li><p>Plan and conduct site inspections to assess service quality and resolve client issues on the ground.</p></li><li><p>Provide leadership and technical direction to supervisors and technicians to improve service quality and the client experience.</p></li><li><p>Train technicians and field teams on IPM and HACCP standards in line with client requirements.</p></li><li><p>Implement and maintain the requirements needed to apply HACCP standards across applicable accounts.</p></li><li><p>Identify quality and compliance risks at client sites and ensure appropriate controls are in place; coordinate with HSE on workplace-safety matters.</p></li><li><p>Prepare risk assessments and discrepancy reports for new and existing clients, driving proactive and preventive control measures.</p></li><li><p>Support clients in achieving strong results in their third-party audits and inspections.</p></li><li><p>Lead the setup and execution of quality requirements on new projects and accounts.</p></li></ol></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p><strong>Must have</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Biology, Agriculture, Environmental or Food Science, Public Health, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</p></li><li><p>Solid experience in pest control / IPM, including a supervisory or quality-assurance role.</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of HACCP and food-safety / quality standards, and of client audit processes.</p></li><li><p>Strong inspection, risk-assessment, and report-writing skills.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to lead and train field teams.</p></li><li><p>Valid Saudi driver's license (regular travel to client sites).</p></li><li><p>Good written and spoken Arabic and English (client reports, audit support, documentation).</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred</strong></p><ul><li><p>HACCP certification (or willingness to obtain it).</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting clients through third-party audits (e.g., food-safety, ISO).</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with relevant Saudi regulatory requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
