Parsons are looking for an exceptional Manager - Design (Power Infrastructure) to join their team! In this role you will support the Senior Manager in assessing proposed localized power distribution networks and substation layouts to align with development schedules.
What You'll Be Doing;
- Assist in developing construction sequencing details and coordinate with contractors to optimize layout paths for MV cabling, switchgears, and ring main units (RMUs).
- Contribute scheduling data and track timeline adjustments across power project packages to support broader utility masterplan objectives.
- Provide key technical and metric inputs to assist early-stage cost estimation and budget tracking dashboards.
- Maintain detailed program trackers, actively identifying local timeline gaps or scheduling risks to coordinate resolution paths.
- Track site execution progress and report physical alignment deviations back to the Senior Manager.
- Collaborate in preparing technical checklists and supporting documentation packets for Stage Gate approvals, with a primary focus on:
- Local distribution phasing schedules
- Subcontractor coordination trackers
- Interface and spatial utility clearance logs
Desired Candidate Profile
What You'll Bring;
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Construction related discipline from an accredited college or university (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 10+ Years' experience in power utility delivery systems.
- Experience in design, construction planning, and coordination of localized power networks, medium voltage (MV) distribution cabling, and substation infrastructure.
- Familiarity with standard municipal design guidelines and utility integration codes.
- Proficiency in spatial scheduling, identifying interface clashes, and planning coordination software (GIS/ Primavera).
