Mentors and trains lower level Service Operators and Operator Assistants in areas of expertise. Monitors instruments and performs necessary calculations to ensure quality of the data at the well. Consults with customers concerning services and products, promotes good customer relations at the well site, and ensures customer satisfaction with results. Checks and verifies equipment as per job plan, properly maintains equipment and completes all job documentation. Conducts pre- job toolbox safety meetings, reviews and verifies job plan with customer representative and manages any changes required. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Skills are acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and 4+years of experience in oil field drilling activities, including 3+ years of underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling.
