Kent is looking for a Senior QC Welding Inspector to be based in Khurais, KSA. <br>Skills and Responsibilities: <br> Support in the achievement project and organization goals, visions and objectives. Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and create suitable action plans to improve project performance. Produce weekly / monthly reports to the project Quality leadership as applicable*. Work cross functionally to design, develop and track project quality objectives Attend all necessary inspections and testing’s as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP). Perform a variety of inspection functions. Record and document all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System. Update the Punchlist management system with all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System. Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are carried out expediently. Generate client Requests for Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for Hold, Witness and Inspection points. Carry out inspections on Exception Items (Punch items) (EI) as documented in the Punchlist management system and sign off as closed when activity is approved & complete. Continually carry out surveillance inspections on the project, recording and documenting all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System. Review the calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the project to ensure the equipment is within calibration prior to use. Provide support to the construction personnel in relation to the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System Maintain a good working relationship with all Kent and Client personnel. Maintain good record keeping of activities carried out and inspection reports, surveillance reports, etc. Where required, assist with the development of project Inspection & Test Plans (ITP’s) and associated Quality Records (QRs) and Test Records (TRs) for the project scope of works in accordance with the contract requirements, applicable legislative, local government and other regulatory requirements. Analyze, report, give recommendations on how to improve quality performance. Promote a positive quality culture throughout the organization. Understand and communicate the quality policy and the organizational context. Embrace, embody and promote quality management principles. Assist in employee selection, career development, succession planning and periodic training. Assist in the recruitment and on-boarding activities of new Quality staff where necessary. Promote continued professional development of the Quality personnel ensuring that improvement plans are developed and where necessary training/mentoring is available for quality personnel. Understand all required Management System documentation (Processes and Procedures) ensuring that the quality personnel are conversant with their purpose and intent. Be familiar with document and record control practices ensuring that any/all quality documents comply with requirements*. Communicate regularly with project and functional teams and ensure all Quality needs and requirements for both functional departments and projects are understood and maintained. Maintain familiarity with the control of non-conformance processes and procedures (Product & Process) ensuring the necessary requirements are adhered to e.g. documenting, Root Cause Analysis, Investigation, Corrective Actions and actions to prevent reoccurrence. Understand the requirements for Management Review Meetings and the inputs & outputs required. Understand and participate in project quality audits. Participate / Conduct sub-contractor and vendor audits and reviews as required ensuring that the quality requirements for supply chains are adequately understood and adhered to. Support the project Quality Manager(s) with the development and approvals of all required project quality documentation e.g. Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) Provide analytical data and recommend improvements in QC areas such as punch list trends, etc. Perform ongoing material receiving inspections (MRI) to confirm Material Requisitions (MR), Purchase Orders (P. O) & delivered to site (MRR) Material Receiving Report has been completed in accordance with the contract Technical & Specification requirements, and associated approvals within Procurement and Materials Management system. Maintain willingness to learn and support the trainee Inspectors providing on-the-job-training. Comply with all Project HSSE requirements i.e. PPE, work Permits etc. Promote HSSE best practices.
