<span>Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor to manage all quantity surveying and commercial activities throughout the construction project lifecycle.<br> The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, measurement of completed works, contract administration, cost control, valuation of variations, and certification of contractor payments while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and project budgets.<br> Key Responsibilities Prepare and verify quantity take-offs based on approved drawings and project specifications.<br> Measure completed works on-site and certify quantities for progress payments.<br> Review contractors' interim payment applications and prepare payment recommendations.<br> Evaluate, measure, and assess variations, change orders, and claims in accordance with contract requirements.<br> Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.<br> Assist in preparing cost estimates, budget updates, and financial forecasts.<br> Review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and ensure accurate measurement in accordance with applicable standards.<br> Maintain cost records and prepare regular cost reports for project management.<br> Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors regarding commercial matters.<br> Participate in contract administration, including the interpretation of contractual provisions and commercial correspondence.<br> Assist in procurement activities by reviewing tender documents, quotations, and cost comparisons.<br> Identify potential commercial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.<br> Verify final quantities and assist in the preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation.<br> Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company procedures, and applicable industry standards.<br> Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.<br> Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management for construction projects.<br> Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.<br> Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, BOQ preparation, and quantity measurement.<br> Familiarity with international standard methods of measurement and construction contracts (e.<br>g., FIDIC). The role is responsible for leading contract administration under FIDIC Conditions of Contract, providing strategic project oversight, and ensuring successful delivery through construction, commissioning, handover, and defects liability stages.
