<p>The Incumbent will be responsible to carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment in the FTP/RMHS area of an integrated steel plant. The candidate should have hands-on experience in maintaining motors, MCCs, drives, conveyors, switchgear, and other electrical systems to ensure safe and uninterrupted plant operations.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment in FTP/RMHS.</li><li>Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.</li><li>Maintain LT panels, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, VFDs, soft starters, switchgear, and control panels.</li><li>Attend maintenance of conveyor systems, stackers, reclaimers, crushers, feeders, screens, and associated equipment.</li><li>Inspect and maintain AC/DC motors, lighting systems, cable networks, and earthing systems.</li><li>Monitor equipment health and carry out routine inspections to improve reliability.</li><li>Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).</li><li>Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and statutory regulations.</li><li>Coordinate with mechanical, operation, and instrumentation teams during maintenance activities.</li><li>Maintain maintenance records, job reports, and spare parts consumption.</li><li>Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment as required.</li></ul><p>Preferred Experience</p><ul><li>Experience in Raw Material Handling System (RMHS) and/or Finished Product/FTP operations within an integrated steel plant.</li><li>Exposure to Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Rockwell, or similar industrial electrical systems.</li><li>Experience in shutdown planning and maintenance execution.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Qualification: ITI</li><li>Experience: 6</li><li>Place of Posting - Oman</li></ul>
