Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and visionary Fleet Executive Director to lead and oversee the company's fleet operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all operational and strategic aspects of the fleet, including procurement and contracting, supplier management, talent acquisition, governance, financial planning, and digital transformation. This role aims to maximize fleet utilization, enhance operational efficiency, optimize asset performance, and support the company's long-term strategic objectives.<br>Key Responsibilities Executive Leadership Develop and execute the overall fleet management strategy aligned with the company's business objectives. Manage the complete vehicle lifecycle, from planning and procurement through disposal or resale. Improve fleet utilization while minimizing vehicle downtime. Lead initiatives to enhance productivity and improve customer service quality.<br>Contracts & Supplier Management Lead all fleet-related procurement and contracting activities. Approve technical specifications and purchase requests. Oversee tendering processes (RFPs/RFQs), bid evaluations, and supplier negotiations. Select and approve suppliers based on quality, cost, and performance criteria. Ensure effective contract execution and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance indicators. Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions when required.<br>Human Resources & Talent Management Participate in the recruitment and selection of senior managers and department heads. Develop the organizational structure of the Fleet Division to support business growth. Contribute to succession planning and leadership development initiatives. Develop technical and managerial capabilities while enhancing organizational performance.<br>Financial Planning & Budget Management Develop and manage the annual fleet budget. Monitor fleet operating and maintenance costs. Lead cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives. Prepare business cases and feasibility studies for fleet expansion and renewal projects.<br>Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies. Oversee the implementation of quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. Identify and manage operational risks while implementing mitigation strategies. Develop and continuously improve fleet policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.<br>Digital Transformation & Data Analytics Lead digital transformation initiatives across fleet operations. Develop executive dashboards and operational performance metrics. Utilize data analytics to support operational and strategic decision-making. Oversee fleet management systems, maintenance management systems (CMMS), GPS tracking, and telematics solutions.<br>Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. An MBA or Master's degree in Operations Management or Logistics is preferred. Professional certifications in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Fleet Management are considered an advantage.<br>Experience Minimum of 12 years of experience in fleet management, transportation, vehicle leasing, or logistics.
