The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in&nbsp;marine logistics, offshore procurement coordination, and knowledge of&nbsp;industry standards, safety regulations, and inventory planning systems.</p> <h2><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Job Responsibilities:</span></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and manage&nbsp;material planning strategies&nbsp;specifically designed for marine and offshore operations, ensuring operational readiness for fleet and project activities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Forecast material demand based on&nbsp;maintenance schedules, vessel dry-docking, and project load-out plans.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proactively monitor&nbsp;inventory turnover, consumption trends, and safety stock&nbsp;to maintain optimal supply levels and minimize material shortages or overstock.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and technical teams to&nbsp;coordinate sourcing, shipping, and delivery&nbsp;of parts and materials in line with vessel movement and offshore schedules.</p> </li> <li> <p>Utilize material planning systems to generate and adjust purchase requisitions, ensuring on-time supply while controlling costs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Analyze supply chain data to identify efficiency improvements, cost savings, and potential risks affecting offshore supply continuity.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain documentation for all materials, including material codes, technical specifications, shelf-life monitoring, and vendor correspondence.</p> </li> <li> <p>Enforce strict adherence to marine and offshore&nbsp;quality, HSE, and regulatory standards&nbsp;when managing materials.</p> </li> <li> <p>Resolve material-related issues such as late deliveries, non-conformance reports, or quality disputes through effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</p> </li> </ul> <h2><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Candidate Requirements:</span></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in&nbsp;Supply Chain Management,&nbsp;Marine Engineering,&nbsp;Logistics, or a related discipline.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven experience as a&nbsp;Material Planner, Logistics Coordinator, or Inventory Controller&nbsp;within the&nbsp;marine, offshore, or oil &amp; gas sectors.</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands-on experience using&nbsp;demand forecasting tools&nbsp;(such as SAP MRP, Oracle SCM Cloud, or Demand Solutions).</p> </li> <li> <p>Practical knowledge of&nbsp;inventory management software&nbsp;(e.g., Maximo, AMOS, or ShipNet) used in marine and offshore environments.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong understanding of material management principles such as&nbsp;inventory turnover, minimum/maximum levels, reorder points, aged stock control, safety stock calibration, and ABC analysis.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with&nbsp;marine supply chain operations, including import/export documentation, customs clearance, and offshore logistics practices.</p> </li> <li> <p>In-depth knowledge of&nbsp;marine industry standards and classification requirements&nbsp;applicable to materials, components, and consumables.</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to forecast, plan, and coordinate across multiple marine operations simultaneously.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to manage complex material demands and troubleshoot challenges under dynamic offshore and port-based conditions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills for dealing with&nbsp;suppliers, shipping agents, and vessel superintendents.</p> </li> </ul></p>
