This full-time position is critical for ensuring compliance with industry codes and client specifications. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a preference for candidates possessing 5-10 years in relevant fields.</p> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Core Purpose of the Role</h3> <p style="margin:0 0 12px; ************;">The Authorized Inspector provides essential inspection services to clients at both shop and/or site locations. This involves rigorously ensuring compliance with the internal Code Services Manual, ASME Code, National Board Inspection Code, and specific customer specifications. The role demands the exercise of independent judgment and strict adherence to established quality control programs.</p> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul style="margin:0 0 12px; padding-inline-start:24px; list-style-type:disc; list-style-position:outside;"> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Provide inspection services to assure compliance with the internal Code Services Manual, ASME Code, National Board Inspection Code, and special customer specifications.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Exercise independent judgment in assuring code compliance or compliance with customer specifications, with minimal supervision.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Monitor Fabricator, Installer, or Repairer’s Quality Control Programs to determine adherence to their systems and to ASME or NBIC requirements.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Review procedures and personnel qualifications for welding and nondestructive examination (NDE).</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Verify through documentation review, witnessing inspections and tests, and certification that inspected items comply with ASME Code or NBIC requirements.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Review calculations and drawings for each item inspected to assure Code compliance.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Maintain an electronic diary for inspection activities to document inspections performed.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Interface professionally with client personnel to develop and maintain good working relationships.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Submit weekly time and expense reports as per company policy.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Accept revisions to Fabricator, Installer, or Repairer’s Quality Control manuals and participate in ASME, National Board, or Jurisdictional Joint Reviews.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Verify items for their compliance to code requirements and certify code items.</li> </ul> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Essential Qualifications</h3> <ul style="margin:0 0 12px; padding-inline-start:24px; list-style-type:disc; list-style-position:outside;"> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Bachelor's degree in Engineering.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, and inspection, specifically within the Boiler and pressure vessel or a related industry.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Desired experience in NDE Level II or above.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Hands-on work experience with ASME codes &amp; standards and other international codes &amp; standards.</li> </ul> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Required Skills and Personal Attributes</h3> <ul style="margin:0 0 12px; padding-inline-start:24px; list-style-type:disc; list-style-position:outside;"> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Demonstrated willingness to take responsibility and possess an open mindset.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Good communication skills in English.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Proficiency in MS Office applications.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Sales &amp; marketing skills.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team player.</li> </ul> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Work Environment and Expectations</h3> <p style="margin:0 0 12px; ************;">This full-time role is based in Al Qaţīf, Saudi Arabia, and involves inspection activities at client shop and/or site locations.
