Role Description The Senior Security Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Bahah, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across applications, networks, and IT infrastructure, in line with RMG’s security policies and industry best practices. Day-to-day tasks include conducting security assessments and penetration tests, reviewing system and application architectures, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation actions. The Senior Security Engineer will monitor security events, analyze incident reports, coordinate incident response activities, and contribute to security documentation and standards. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, supports audits and compliance efforts, mentors junior team members, and helps drive continuous improvement of cybersecurity capabilities. Qualifications<br>Strong expertise in Application Security, including secure coding principles, threat modeling, and vulnerability management for web and mobile applications. Advanced knowledge of Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, segmentation, and secure network architecture design.+7 years of experience in Cybersecurity and Information Security, covering risk assessment, security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). Demonstrated skills in Security Engineering, including designing and implementing security solutions, automation of security controls, and integration with Dev Ops/CI/CD pipelines. Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are highly advantageous. Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, or other providers), endpoint protection, SIEM platforms, and identity and access management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience in enterprise environments, preferably within systems integration or consulting in the Middle East region, is beneficial.
