Proven experience in a similar HSE leadership role, preferably within the construction or engineering industry. In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, particularly in the Middle East region. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. NEBOSH or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. Job Purpose To lead and execute specialized IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation activities within the Transformation Office. Risk Assessment and Mitigation Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify potential workplace hazards and associated risks. Collaborate with departmental teams to develop and implement effective control measures to mitigate identified risks. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented control measures and recommend improvements as necessary. Ensure that appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is available, properly used, and maintained to ensure safety in running the operations within the plants.<br>Incident Management Develop accident statistical reports highlighting severity, frequency, incident rates etc., and analyse the trends to identify vulnerabilities. Assist in the investigation of work-related accidents/incidents, analyse the root cause and generate report highlighting recommendations and areas of improvement to mitigate the identified risks.<br>Prepare detailed incident investigation reports, including recommendations for preventive measures and corrective actions. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions. Ensure that established operational procedures for receiving handling and dispatching of products are being followed by warehouse personnel. Applied the corrective & preventive action (CAPA) procedures proposed by the operation supervisor. Periodically inventory count and reconciliation.
